xxi-xxv
Heard cablevision agreed, Directv has not yet. I am a DirectV subscriber and assuming they have to get the network to satisfy their MLB package ads for all teams I assume this will get done. Anyone know anything more about this? Blue Jeans
Is it a new channel? Or is it Fox Sports Network New York?
gateb
I'm a comcast subscriber who has suffered through the last two years of not having FSNNY not coming with our package. The least we deserve is to have this network come for free. All I've heard is the network is airing March 16th. That's it.
Blue Jeans
For some reason the link I had messed up but the one I was reading said DirectTV agreed. Edited February 27, 2006 by Blue_Jeans
Exit 117
I'll look around; I had heard that DTV had signed on, but I don't remember where.
Exit 117
This article (http://www.nypost.com/sports/61374.htm) from Feb. 3rd said they came to a deal, but it was the Post so it was wrong. This article (http://www.newsday.com/sports/columnists/ny-spbest074617075feb07,0,6521536.column?coll=ny-sports-columnists) from Feb. 7th said they were very close. A random poster from this Danish Google Group (http://groups.google.de/group/alt.sports.baseball.ny-mets/feed/atom_v1_0_topics.xml?num=50) said on Feb. 21st that DTV e-mailed him and said still no deal (1/2 way down the page): DTV Latest on Sportsnet NY Emailed them and asked about a deal but here is what they wrote back: Thanks for writing. While we don't carry SportsNet New York at this time, we are still in negotiations with the network and we hope to be adding it to our programming lineup soon. Thanks again for writing and check back at DIRECTV.com this spring Can't find anything else of value.
