420
No reason to be scared yet. I know this but are things getting ugly or is this a bump in the road? Milledge is a disaster in the OF. He's clearly not ready. The pitching needs to improve quickly. The team (except Reyes) is in a hitting slump as a whole. Tell me it's not as bad as I fear. Please? Ditto
It's not as bad as you fear. So you get blowed out a couple of games. At least you're getting rid of all your bad at one time.
gateb
We need Delgado for the playoffs. Even Wright lately too. I was hoping this park would cure our hitting ills. The one guy we don't want hitting homers is the only one hitting them.
Blue Jeans
I think we should fit Milledge with glasses. Anyone see Major League with Charlie Sheen? He'd probably be a beast with soem glasses.

Ditto
Wright needs a couple days just to sit on the bench and relas a bit Yer right, and the Mets are in the best position to rest their players. That includes both leagues.

420
I would have liked it if the Mets had claimed Preston Wilson off waivers, but.......... Mr. DP and Mr. Strike Out... With the amount of times Mets players get on base, Wilson's habit of hitting into DP's would kill chances to score. Look it up.

OK maybe you're right, but only because Milledge has shown signs the last few games.
