mws44
I gotta give it up for Duque. He really battled back after that first inning and had a solid outing. gateb, I thought that was a pretty exicting game to see. You got to see a 3 run jack and some solid pitching from Duque, Sanchez and Wagner. But to each his own. Congrats on the bear snag, my girlfriend really wanted that bear, but i told her she had to be under 12. She wanted to bring a little kid and then take it from him! Excited for the pitching matchup today.

If it was Roger Clemens shutting us down rather then Dave Borkowski and Chad Qualls it would have been more interesting. The Mets didn't get a hit after Nady's 3 run shot until the eighth inning. El Duque's 5th-7th innings were very enjoyable to watch for sure, but offensively it was extremely boring. We had a total of six hits I think in the game, and in the top of the 9th there was 20 minutes of absolutely nothing, ending with Woodward's strikeout. Thank god for Nady though :worshippy:

mws44
Ha. Gary Cohen just said he has a jaw condition of some kind. Requires him to wear a mouth piece. He doesn't seem to be able to stop chewing on it. Solid first inning.
jranieli
How do we stand against other teams by having runs scored in the first inning. Add three more to that stat.
mws44
Pelfrey vs. Oswalt today. I'm going to be the first one to call a fight today and empty dugouts. You might be right on with that.
jranieli
The Astros needs to light a fire under their ass. They are pitiful this year.
