ugh, 1-4. I have reservations at Cheesecake Factory on Sunday at 5:30. I might just keep them.

Thank GOD.. DJ was setting him up to be laid out anyway.  Please O GOD let Malik experience a real QB and success with the Giants before DJ has him stretched out for good out there.  A generational talent having to bail out a lousy QB.  :(

I figured he would be out this week due to concussion protocol.

Before or after that... do like me bro.  It is preserved for game time... PC game time that is.  I only listen to the Giants on the radio feed and I catch highlights on YouTube later.  I also listen or watch the critiques.  It is definitely when I get my PC games on whenever the games are played.  I will not waste three hours until they get a real QB.

NFL just needs to do an automatic month off for confirmed concussions. I know that sucks but you just can’t keep expecting 21 year olds kids, he’ll even 30 year old guys, to fully comprehend the long term impact their choices are going to have.

Guardian caps need to be mandatory as well.

And NFLPA should hire their own medical team that works in conjunction with team doctors. I know they all go to unaffiliated top medical experts in various fields, but they need an advocate in their ear who has their best medical interests in mind. I think we’re mostly passed the days of team doctors sacrificing players for the good of the team, and maybe I’m just talking out of my ass.

The Tua situation just has me spooked. That guy is going to come back and play. That’s his right and by all accounts it sounds like he’s doing the right thing and getting really good medical opinions. But there is no formula to what’s going to cause devastating brain damage in 25 years.

but it’s about more than the NFL. College ands high school kids are going to see Tua come back after seeing his awful fucking concussions three times and think it’s not a big deal. Kids who will never have $40 million dollar contracts but still may have the brain damage.

And tackle football for younger than high school should be talked about of it should be allowed.

Well from the injury reports he is still in the early stages of the concision protocol so don't know if there was ever a real chance he played.

Jones going to end Nabers career before it even began.

This and this.  Kid does not know that you don't stretch out for a sixth year game manager wannabe from Duke.  No way no how.  Please let some legendary WR talk to him to dial it back some so he is here next year and still a threat.  Boy will get the Barkley solution if he is not careful and will never be the same.

I agree with all of your points and Tua and everyone else should be out a mandatory month.  I once was concussed really bad and kept on playing in high school for an additional half hour and was very loopy.  My  friends took me home and I had a headache and went to sleep.  All things that are a no no now.  I woke up seven to eight hours later.  This happened on a Saturday and I was not "right" until the later hours of Sunday.

I don’t “think” I ever had a concussion. I’m trying to remember but just don’t. I can remember other injuries to my back and and knee and ankle, things that took me out of games or practice and how pissed it made me to lose playing time to a chop block to my knee (I wasn’t a starter).  But I can guarantee it would have had to been a dramatic bell ringing to tell anyone and come out of a game. And that’s the problem with the NFL doing partial measures. The protocol is great, the guardian cap option is great, but it isn’t enough. It’s just enough to say they’re doing something.

Month off with pay for any confirmed concussion. That needs to be the standard. It’s not based on and medical knowledge on my part, so again maybe I’m talking out of my ass.

No that is a great start VG.  Tua is a walking concussion and he needs to leave football soon.  There is no reason to have tackle football before serious high school at least.  I would always play SS or FS as I was not quick enough for CB nor heavy enough for LB.  I loved the game as was always the biggest tackler.  I was in a tackle for a loss where either an Offensive Lineman or Defensive Lineman accidentally kicked me in the head and I was out cold for about 10 seconds.  All I remember to today is the tackle and a flash of light from the hit....

I wish this was a wake up moment for me.  Unlike my oldest brother...murdered in 1968 by his "friends" unfortunately was a TE at 18 for his high school football team.  He had prospects in college but wanted to be a combat specialist whose MOS was dealing with dead bodies being prepped to be shipped home from Vietnam.  One of my uncles was a mortician and owned a funeral home.  My brother Dancing with Wolves Ronnie wanted to be a mortician.  Anyway he was running full speed towards the end zone with a caught past and out of nowhere an LB grabs his face mask and yanks him back so hard that my brother's feet flew forward.

Everyone though his neck was broken at least.  The scrum separated after a personal foul, fight and having that bastard thrown out of the game.  My brother took off his helmet threw it... and walked off of the field.  The field was right across the street from my house.  I was there in the kitchen  with my mom at 4 when my brothers walks in with his football uniform sans a helmet.  My mom asked him why he was not playing and he said his neck was almost broke and that he quit football forever.  My mom totally supported his decision and sat him down for dinner.

Tua is a moron who doesnt know how to slide or duck and he thinks he is some Samoan Rugby player the size of Kane or something. The guy is one concussion away from being a vegetable. Hes made his bag. He should walk away to preserve his longevity for his loved ones and get into the booth and do something for the community and educate the need to make 'business and life' decisions. When Tua ran into Damar Hamlin - it was the exact OPPOSITE of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. It was a question of which ones gonna die first.

Look - I get the Jones hate - and its valid. But what the hell is this even supposed to mean??? Jones is going to end Nabers's career?? Jones didnt put him in harms way or throw it to him a second before being walloped by a 250 pound linebacker? It was a decently thrown ball and Nabers just fell badly. Not anything and everything is Jones's fault. Yeah I know he is not the QB of the future and all that - but jesus man - pipe it down a little.

lol I was about to say the same thing, but maybe a little nicer, lol.

Tua is the worst player I’ve ever seen in terms of protecting himself on the football field. He gave *himself* at least one of his concussions because he flopped to try to draw a penalty. I don’t even want to see that clown on the field.

Sorry :) I like Tua but I cant take that shit anymore. Daniel Jones is atleast protecting himself a little better. He also put his body on the line a lot of times.

Yeah Tua is a highlight reel on how not to get tackled....

I did appreciate how Jones took a huge hit on a run, popped back up, then said something to the defensive end that hit him and was still down on the ground, clearly regretting his life choices - to my lip reading, he said 'nice hit'.

At least Jones doesn't deliberately slam his head into the ground, and is good about delivering a blow rather than taking it.

Yeah thats because Jones is atleast a 6-5 big guy - Tua is 5 ft tall mental midget - and fucking ends up thinking he is a bowling ball or something

Kudos to DJ... I truly believe he missed his calling as a TE or RB back in the day.
