But could you imagine the fog and sweat that would be on those things?  Grass, dirt, etc. they’d be taking time between every play to clean them. I think it’sa good idea but it would come with hassles

I do think it will be a hassle anyway... That was such a rare injury anyway.

I think most or at least half of the players use visors already.

I’m surprised more qbs don’t wear the tinted visor

It tends to distort vision... not the tint itself but visors in general.   If you're a QB or WR, it can make a big difference when throwing or catching.

I used to wear motorcycle helmets without the wiper and really no fog issues

Just spit it and wipe it and no fog up

Same with scuba divers

For tinted you need a medical clearance for migraines or light sensitivity.

I bet it’s pretty easy to rock tinted visor if you want.

Makes sense.  It seems like it’d be a big competitive advantage

 Not the new plastic bro

There has been clear plastic available since the '87 onward

If the need is there, they are going to do it

It’s the roundness of the visor that distorts the vision a bit.   Not a whole lot but for a QB or Receiver that fraction of an inch could be the difference between catching the ball or not.
