It's about shifting assets, reversing bad decisions, and monitoring 'The a-hole quotient'. Here's an inside look at what the Giants GM is trying to do: http://bit.ly/2Uo25Xn https://twitter.com/RVacchianoSNY/status/1104773645614886912/photo/

That's pretty much the excuse of any GM when they get hired to a shit team.
Sephiroth
I trust what Gettleman is doing, we just have to give it more than 12 months to see if it's actually working. If we're here in 2021 saying the same things we're saying now, we'll know we're in trouble... but yeah, he has to get out from under the shitty JR contracts, he has to draft well, he has to rebuild the offensive line... things we've all been asking for since pretty much forever. gmenroc
Gettlemen is going to get 5 years at least. Two years to get through previous regime's mistakes and 3 more to transition to new QB. Add in that previous regime didn't just jack up one position...they spent years...literally years...neglecting linebacker and offensive line. Gettlemen should get years to fix it. Oh to relive the salad days when all we kept clamoring about was Linebackers. We never did fix that, did we?

Jerry Reese did at least try with Flowers, Pugh, and Richburg... those guys just weren't any good. Linebackers were definitely the stepchild though. Linebackers were definitely the stepchild though. The offensive line needed help in 2011 and they drafted all those guys two years and later. Going by the number of misses on the offensive line alone, Jerry Reese was horrible at finding talent.
