Nas
Nem's gotta get a Hilliard bash in at least once a year. It's in the Sportswrath User Agreement. That agreement...
boohyah
10 years of Reese's fucking bad drafts have cost us "big time" Thankfully DG looks to have started pretty well so far Barkley ( outstanding ) Hernandez ( very good ) Carter ( very good ) Hill ( good so far ) Lauletta ( who fucking knows ? ) He got some stuff right but this spot was crucial. Tempest
We could have had Todd Gurley. Or Andrus Peat. I'm telling you this "project" has cost us big time. It sure did, $62 million.
Sephiroth
We could have had Todd Gurley. Or Andrus Peat. I'm telling you this "project" has cost us big time. Andrus Peat? Dude is actually graded lower than Flowers.
Sephiroth
Flowers’ efforts in New York, to put it simply, were bad – historically bad. Among the 275 offensive linemen with at least 1,800 pass-block snaps in the PFF era (2006-Present), Flowers ranks dead last in pressure percentage allowed (9.45%) and 273rd in pass-blocking efficiency (94.8). The former Miami (Fla.) product allowed 180 total pressures, including 130 hurries, 34 hits and 16 sacks, across his 1,911 (regular season) pass-block snaps with the Giants. His 61.8 career pass-block grade ranks 271st among the same group of offensive linemen, as well. His run blocking, though better than his play in pass protection, didn’t save Flowers from criticism, either. He ranked 58th among 74 qualifiers in run-block grade (52.8) in 2017, and through 41 run-block snaps in 2018, he had accrued just 55.6 run-block grade. CrazedDogs
... on 9.45% of snaps he allowed pressure. Soak that in. One of ten snaps. Holy crap that is awful. And what was most infuriating and deceiving about Flowers is that when he won, he won easily. The problems are all upstairs with that guy.
BronxRik
Speaking of dead weight we're glad to be rid of, how 'bout that Linval Joseph over there in Minnesota? So glad we got rid of that bum. <_>

boohyah
Andrus Peat? Dude is actually graded lower than Flowers. Dude starts for the Saints and while not tearing it up, the guy you say was graded higher than him is looking for a job today.
boohyah
Snacks eases the sting. Yeah, but we had to get Snacks because Joseph was let go. That said, Snacks earns his money.
NeMesiS
Nem's gotta get a Hilliard bash in at least once a year. It's in the Sportswrath User Agreement. Whatever dude... The guy lead the league in drops balls while only playing 7 games that same year... Dude was a bust
Bigblue25
Dude starts for the Saints and while not tearing it up, the guy you say was graded higher than him is looking for a job today. He starts at LG, He was so bad at OT they drafted Ryan Ramczyk two years after Peat. The Giants should of drafted Ramczyk over Engram tbh
CrazedDogs
Whatever dude... The guy lead the league in drops balls while only playing 7 games that same year... Herc
Yeah never got the Hilliard thing. He was a solid possession receiver for us. He fell short of expectations but he wasnt a flat out bust
CrazedDogs
Nem hates Hilliard with the heat of a thousand suns. I remember when Beckham was drafted, I thought oh shit, it's Hilliard 2.0. I'll take Reasons I'm not an NFL Scout for $500, Alex.
Storm
Snacks eases the sting. We had also developed Jonathan Hankins and now Dalvin Tomlinson and BJ Hill, too. The defensive line will be pretty solid for years to come if they can ever find a way to get a pass rush from the 3-4.
Nas
I swear you have Ike Hilliard confused with Thomas Lewis. Lewis was a bust. Hilliard was just over-drafted. He wasn't overrated... he was never the same after the cheap shot he took which fucked up his neck.... I think it was the ravens.

I still struggle with the coaching staff, TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF THEM, not being able to pass on basic technique. The guy must be dumb as bricks. Drafting that high raises expectations. You hope he pans out to be at leadt the 7th best player in the draft. Giants remember talk all the time about value and not need. Amazing that beckham is like 16 and flowers was a
