Sephiroth
Sad to see Jenkins go. It was always better for Eli's passing stats to start in a second-and-13 hole.

But we do need a back that's better. don't know if they'll draft someone though.
CrazedDogs
I think Perkins is the starter going forward. I think he'll be a good enough player too. Probably a better use of resources on offense to keep the attention on the OL and, moreso perhaps, TEs. And..... I guess WR. Damn, this team really isn't that good on O. Its the Eli/Beckham show. I agree, but we have become a passing team due to the shitty running game. Just wish we had a back that could make holes for himself instead of depending on the " Average " OL. GA4M
Still BS talk on twitter about AP having his eye on the Giants.
Nas
Thanks for everything Victor - A great Giant. ( but dont you dare go and sign for the fucking Eagles ) It doesn't matter... I think the Eagles learned their lesson signing ex Giants WRs just like we learned our lesson signing ex Eagles' linebackers... fucking Carlos Emmons. But he only said " the Giants are making some moves " from what I saw. so time will tell, I guess.
BlueInCanada
AP is under contract for another year though, unless the Vikings pull the plug and take the cap hit, the Gints may have to throw a pick their way for him. I wouldn't do anything more than a 5th.

BlueInCanada
According to overthecap.com they would save 18million by cutting him. Oh I heard that wrong then I thought the NFL network was saying that the Vikings would take the cap hit, which is a reason he's stil sitting on the team. Treehugger
I think it goes like this: Vikes take the hit if they CUT him. If they TRADE him (it's his contract they actually trade) the new team eats it.
Mr. P
No, if they don't cut him soon though they owe him a $6million roster bonus. They can cut him with no cap hit.
Mr. P
Or essentially they don't pick up his 2017 option.
Treehugger
Or essentially they don't pick up his 2017 option. So it's $6 mil for the roster bonus + $12 mil for the 2017 option? That's a contract they never intended on honoring.
