Sephiroth
Can we fucking cut this guy already? You mean to tell me there's seriously not a guy out there on the scrap heap that can block and catch better than this guy?
CrazedDogs
Can we fucking cut this guy already? Not so much. Dude is good for something boneheaded as hell every week.

Like an oversized piece of glass, he shatters from contact.
fringe
And Tye runs patterns like he's riding a segue.
CrazedDogs
And he's probably the best TE on the team. Not a strong group. I like what I've seen from Adams though.
Dragon
This guy is the fn worst. All the potential in the world but he's the definition of soft and makes the dumbest decisions when he actually gets the ball in his hands.
Tempest
Problem is he is playing his position with the mindset of a QB and I understand that is useful as a receiver but it is terrible in every other way. Unwilling blocker, avoids contact, etc. I'll be happy when the seasons is over because this will be the last we see of him as a Giant.

Iceman_NYG
Who were TEs drafted in the top rounds this year? How are they doing? As I said - I miss Shockey - Hell I miss Boss man!!! Why did we let Bennett go?????

Sephiroth
I'm just not sure I've ever seen a LESS physical player than Donnell... which is fine if you're a WR who runs a 4.3 40-yard dash. TE isn't that position though; you need someone who at least isn't afraid to take a hit at a bare minimum. This guy is a 270 lb pussy. Enough already; let's get at least an average player in there. Gman329
There were times last year that I thought Will Tye had a chance to develop into at least a C+ TE but that guy is nowhere to be found this year.

He at least can make something happen after the catch. Donnell either goes down on first contact, jumps, or fumbles. Neither guy can block. At the end of the day, both these guys are third-stringers on other teams.
Dragon
Bennett was able to leave because we needed the cap space to sign DRC. That can't be. DRC signed before the 2014 season. Bennett left after 2012. Reese didn't want to "overpay" for a TE and got blinded by Myers' garbage time stats in Oakland.

Treehugger
Larry Donnell belongs on the bench Donnell's fumble cost the Giants 7 points in this one and his contributions were far outweighed by his mistakes. Stop me if you've heard that before. Donnell also blew a key block in the run game when the Giants went to a full house backfield (hey! they actually changed the formaton) and it led to negative run play. We know you've heard that one before. Donnell is a key mistake waiting to happen for the Giants. He has questionable hands, he doesn't have the speed to stretch the seam, he runs carelessly with the football leading to turnovers, and he can't block. His place is on the Giants' bench, and an argument could've been made for his release if the Giants had more depth at tight end. It's time to turn the reigns over to Jerell Adams and Will Tye.
