Lughead
Now Josh brown and DRC are going to the Pro-bowl..... This is stupid. they are just going down the list and checking off names they way Reese does, BPA. I am not sure how much longer the Pro-bowl will be in existence. BlueInCanada
They need to bring back the skill games they used to have during the Pro-bowl. QB passing challenges, WR catching challenges, the HoF great game where the retired players go out and play a game of tag football. That was fun to watch. Storm
Great, Eli can show off his red zone interceptio skills and third down conversion percentage.
Lughead
Great, Eli can show off his red zone interceptio skills and third down conversion percentage. Well, then again maybe we will see what he can do with proper protection?
NightFire
I may actually watch it now...maybe. Why did the skills competition stop? Seems all leagues have this.
Treehugger
Well, then again maybe we will see what he can do with proper protection? Well there's no pass rushing in the Pro Bowl so if he's ever going to do it...the game itself is a joke.
fringe
Just end this nonsense. Nobody cares....
Storm
Eli Manning was the 19th most sacked quarterback in the league. And considering that most teams used 2 or more quarterbacks throughout the season, the numbers are skewed. Don't sell me that "he was constantly under pressure," horse shit. Mr. P
Eli has always been very good at avoiding taking a sack.
BronxRik
Some people have very short memories of what it was like before Eli. I would rather take Eli with any of his faults, than a Dave Brown or Kent Graham. Give it a few years, we'll all be sorry then.
Allstarjim
I don't think that the Eli critics want to go back... It's the perception (and salary) that he's an elite QB when by certain metrics... He's just not. At one time he was... But you can't co tinhe to miss the playoffs and say u are an elite QB. Storm
I just get tired of the offensive line hate when they have managed to keep him upright for two seasons now.
MakeMeSomeFoodHo
the wco has eli getting rid of the ball quicker..but its the ol run blocking that has been awful..theyre not that bad in pass protection
Iceman_NYG
The OL has NOT kept Eli upright - repeat - they have NOT. Eli just knew what was coming and got rid of the ball quicker as per the offensive plan or threw the ball away and not take a sack. Some of those times when he didn't take a sack was also a huge hue and cry from us fans. Anyone has any statistic on QB hits? Eli had pressure in his face all season with no running game to help him. He was just better than most at getting rid of the ball.
gmenroc
Eli has always been very good at avoiding taking a sack. So much so, that even when he should take a sack, he doesn't.

Storm
I like how over half the players in the Pro Bowl weren't actually voted in, makes it a real all-star game.
