Herc
Too many 3 and outs. Boom or bust offense
gmenroc
Speaks too towards field position when the defense is on the field and the defense giving up long drives. I'd like to see numbers for how many drives where our defense has given up point in which their opponent started inside their own 25 yard line vs. other teams. Sephiroth
This team pretty much relies on the big Odell Beckham TD... otherwise, it's pretty threadbare.
Treehugger
So...3.6 more 1st downs and 66.6 yards per game. That's not very 'amazing'.
Storm
So...3.6 more 1st downs and 66.6 yards per game. That's not very 'amazing'. Say even 2 two of those first downs come in the 4th quarter.
Treehugger
Say even 2 two of those first downs come in the 4th quarter. Exactly. I'm saying it's not a very wide differential.

Storm
I feel like you're arguing against a point I'm not making. I'm asking you what you're talking about with the itallics and quotes, trying to figure out what you actually mean. 4 first downs and 60 yards per game is huge. That's a scoring drive. Or, a key first down in a crucial situation.
Treehugger
It's a handful of plays. We're losing by a handful of plays per game. The original tweets are trying to make it look like those are big numbers, but they're not.
Storm
It's a handful of plays. We're losing by a handful of plays per game. The original tweets are trying to make it look like those are big numbers, but they're not. So we are saying the same thing. In the grand scheme though, maybe not amazing, but certainly a crucial stat.
Treehugger
So we are saying the same thing. In the grand scheme though, maybe not amazing, but certainly a crucial stat. Yes and yes. A handful of plays; a few catches, a little more attention to situational playcalling, a little more accurate on the throws...and we're at least 9-3.
