Storm
The Seahawks are pretty fucking terrible, too. And people were worried about our offensive line?! Theirs is god awful. They almost cost the Seahawks the game. Russell Wilson was constantly pressured, the passing game looked chaotic...they are really going to have to start getting Russ rolling and throwing on the run. He almost gave the game away with the fumbles and almost seemed shook for most of the second half...he took some shots. That defense is really ferocious, though. Storm
So turns out that it is illegal to bat the ball out of the end zone...I thought it was...the Lions should have regained possession. Moot now but it's interesting and just further confirms my suspicions that the majority of officials don't know the bloated rule book.
Allstarjim
Yes the Lions should have gotten the ball. Another way they could've won was to not fumble in the first place.
Allstarjim
Personally I think the Lions would've lost even if they had made the TD there.

I don't know, dude, scoring a TD with about a minute left and no timeouts is pretty tough in the NFL. Detroit would have been up 4. Wilson has some magic but I don't know if he could have pulled that off with the way he had to dance around all night.

Allstarjim
I have the same policy with the Lions... I've said it before, I think Stafford is a point shaver. I know, I know... but he NEVER puts away a team that the Lions are supposedly much better than. He plays well against teams the teams that the Lions are 'dogs in. The Chargers have similarly burned me one too many a time. I am done betting their games as well.
GA4M
They should just review everything that happens in the endzone. how could he not see that?
Treehugger
It was sa fantastic play by Kam, but I knew the LB should have been penalised as soon as I saw it. It was blatant batting. However I think the Head Ref guy is wrong; deliberate batting, punching or kicking of a loose ball does not incur an automatic 1st down, so they would have had the ball at the 1/4 yard mark and 4th down. Would have been an interesting finish though.
Sephiroth
The Seahawks are pretty fucking terrible, too. Turns out when the Seahawks have to pay market value for all their players that were great as rookies, they're a pretty average team.
BlueInCanada
Turns out when the Seahawks have to pay market value for all their players that were great as rookies, they're a pretty average team. They really havent lost anyone though, from that SB winning team. That defense is practically the same across the board and the offense has gotten BETTER weapons. BronxRik
Yes the Lions should have gotten the ball. Another way they could've won was to not fumble in the first place. Dude, that wasn't a fumble. That ball was punched out. It was just a great defensive play.
NightFire
They should just review everything that happens in the endzone. how could he not see that? That's the real question isn't it. The back judge ruled it unintentional so maybe he didn't have a good view or maybe he hates the Lions.
