gmenroc
I think it'll be more interesting to see how this changes once the roster is whittled down. When is the next roster limiting day?
gmenroc
Nevermind: Sept. 1: Prior to 4 p.m. ET, clubs must reduce their rosters to a maximum of 75 players on the active list. Sept. 5: Prior to 4 p.m. ET, clubs must reduce rosters to a maximum of 53 players on the Active/Inactive List.
mastershake
Lol, Giants.com lists 12 men on offense as "starters." 1 QB, 5 OL, 1 RB, 1, HB, 1 TE and 3 WR's

gmenroc
I think as long as your the first guy at your position to go into a game, you're a starter. But that line gets blurred by Nickle Corner, Slot Receiver, etc. position titles. I guess my point is, that I'd consider Zak Deossie a starter for the Giants. So yeah, I have no issue with the listing of 12 starters on offense.

They listed 3 wide receivers as well as Henry Hynoski, which means...I guess Victor Cruz is considered a starter in 3 WR sets while Henry Hynoski is starter in 2 back backfields... Right. Plus, there will formations where basically Vereen is the 4th WR

Yeah, I was able to gather that. My point was that I don't disagree with putting the depth chart out in that manner.
