BronxRik
Good God how the time flies. Seems like only yesterday I was suffering through the deflate-gate debacle.
CrazedDogs
Looking forward to the joint practices, that will probably be the closest I will ever get to training camp.
Storm
It always amazes me that these dudes get so little practice in before preseason and the regular season starts. Especially with regards to wearing pads. And then you consider all the terminology they have to learn and the intricacies of a new playbook and all the new faces and developing a cohesive team. Less than a month of, is it two a day sessions? There are high schools that spend more time practicing than that.

It also seems like season-ending injuries have gone up significantly since then.

It just seems to me that two of the other major sports, MLB and NBA, spend a whole shit ton more time preparing for the season than the NFL does. And the first 3 weeks or so of the season seem to kind of suck as teams are kind of hitting the ground running. Seems like baseball and basketball seasons don't really end...but the Super Bowl is in what? February? And they don't really start even putting pads on until the end of July and preseason starts like two weeks later. It just doesn't seem like a lot of practice time, to me. Everything here is truth and it's due to the cba limiting team practice time and other things.

The first two weeks of the NFL season are pretty much throwaway games. On the other hand, the new CBA restrictions on two a days, hitting in practice, and pads has really reduced the number of injuries on the team. :eyeroll:
