BlueInCanada
He's probably one of the best defensive minded coaches in the league and simply put his players don't quit on him. He'll end up getting a HC job somewhere since the Jets have already made him the scapegoat, and he'll end up making some team a winner. Any chance the Giant's can just say "Hey instead of moving half way across country, just move across the river" Would love to see what he can do with our defense. Sephiroth
Rex Ryan is exactly the kind of showboating, shit-talking character the Giants management hates. There is zero chance of him coming to the Giants.

I an agree with that assessment... although I like Rex personally.. he's passionate about the game and the Jets don't really have a QB and how many teams succeed without that? CrazedDogs
There's no way in hell and he runs a 3-4 and we don't have 3-4 personnel I'm not sure about that. Both Kiwi and Damontre Moore fit better as 3-4 OLBs (of course, Kiwi is gone next season, just saying....). JPP is practically a prototypical 3-4 end, he's much bigger than the typical pass rush specialist coming from DE on the blind side. Hankins and Bromley look like NTs. And didn't McClain play the other ILB for the Ravens? Of course, then I get to the other linebackers on the roster....not exactly prototypical 3-4 stock over there. But that didn't stop them from playing a 3-4 about half the game against Dallas.

Philly plays a 3-4, that's more a 43 under, Seattle plays a 4-3 that has 3-4 looks and Houston and New England are 3-4 D's that line up four guys on the line. Kennard could also stand up or play with his hand on the ground
CrazedDogs
yeah, the line is so blurred these days. I remember back when we had Tim Lewis, he ran a 4-3 with us that was schematically more like a 3-4.
