gmenroc
Not that we weren't fucked before.. now we're truly fucked. 3-0 without....0-4 with....our 'fucked' level is likely not as hinged on Beason as you seem to indicate...though I'll give you that overall depth is definitely impacted here. Yeah, he hasn't been right all season. And we were counting on him too.

Point taken... I guess I was holding on to the 2013 Beason.

Sephiroth
Stunner! It sucks that he's out, but: 1. This shouldn't surprise anybody, and 2. McClain has been WAY better than advertised. I was expecting Keith Rivers 2.0 but man, was I wrong.

I'm still shaking my head we let Dallas sign that dude who was a 1st rounder by Oakland not too long ago (Rolando McClain??) when we have a guy named Hertzlich taking up a roster spot. CrazedDogs
2. McClain has been WAY better than advertised. I was expecting Keith Rivers 2.0 but man, was I wrong. Yeah, I had visions of Carlos Emmons. McClain is a good player. I'm still shaking my head we let Dallas sign that dude who was a 1st rounder by Oakland not too long ago (Rolando McClain??) when we have a guy named Hertzlich taking up a roster spot. well, that other McClain... dude's head isn't right. Dallas is getting some value from him now, but its hard to see that lasting.

Until it stops, we're going to be a bad team. As a fan I'm getting tired of all the injuries every year.

I've always conteded that pulled hamstrings, torn pec, strained quads... even les lefrancs could easily be prevented by employing the correct conditioning and stressing stretching... shit if my company can bring in a yoga instructor once a week, an NFL team better be able to afford one 7 days a week. The bad part is, The Eagles and Dallas aren't as good as they thought. this could be a good time to get back in it if this team wasn't so fucked up, but I don't plan on much the rest of the year. I thought we'd be 7 and 9 this year, now it's looking even worse.
Treehugger
Our McClain has 2 more tackles. Still wishing we'd pursued D'Qwell Jackson.

Philly for as much as some hate them are at least well conditioned.. they looked like fucking nascar against us.. our guys look like they have cement feet... we can start with a new DC... next year I guess. They been putting that together for several years and it's working, but the Cards defense made them look bad. We could be looking up in this division for a few years, bummer! That maybe correct but my formula doesn't call for replacing our McClain with that McClain but our Hertzlich for that McClain.
CrazedDogs
I used to view injuries as just bad luck, and sometimes they are, but I've come to understand that injuries tend to happen to players who don't do a good job of protecting themselves. The truly great players can play at a very high level while protecting themselves. Most players are always on one side or the other, either playing balls out, or thinking about their knees. Lately, it seems like the Giants have a lot of guys with that latter mentality.
