Sephiroth
Giants are called for a false start and will now face a 1st and 15. Ben McAdoo has issued a statement assuring the fanbase not to worry, because he's got a run dialed up that's sure to net a one yard gain.
NightFire
Fuck that was infuriating. Also what was the point of taking all those time outs at half time and running Hillis? Seriously he's so slow if he actually had a hole and ran into open space it would have taken him until after half time to reach the endzone. BlueInCanada
Who'd a thought an OC would stick to a game plan and not change it despite it not working. Maybe it wasnt just Gilly. This is starting to shake my knowledge of the NFL.
Bigblue25
Even worse is they abandoned what was working. Maybe we can give up on the idea that McAdoo runs an uptempo west coast offense

fishgutmartyr
I thought the holding/false start penalties killed them more than anything else. They had a couple of drives die from those.
Herc
we're a frustrating flawed team but i believe we're slowly making progress which was all i wanted this season. that's a really good team and we went toe to toe with them in their house for most of that game

The NFL is pretty beastly this year.

Perhaps because Hillis is so slow, McAdoo was thinking that time would roll backwards and actually be added to the game clock?

I don't want to fucking go 'toe to toe' with the Cowboys, I want them humiliated in their own house.
Blindgreed1
My gawd... WTF was that? I didn't see the game because I'm in the Cardinals market but I tracked it on my phone. Just when I thought I could count on the Gmen they shit the bed. You guys shut down Murray which I predicted, but your secondary gave it up like a 16 year old trailer park slut at prom. I don't know man, Murray was a beast. As soon as Beason went out of the game, we had no answer for Murray. 7 straight 100 yard games, just incredible. Hats off to that guy. If he were on any other team, he'd be one of my favorite players.

In a way, there's something more fun about being a fan through the rebuilding years.... lots to talk about, no expectations. I love watching football regardless, but when I expect nothing out of the Giants its just straight relaxation for me. I really didn't expect a rebuilding phase, although if McAdoo's offense doesn't pan out (and its too early to tell, I know) I think that is exactly where we're headed. The bye week plus one more game played and I think we'll know what we have....

I think the fossilizing characteristic that both shared/share is that Coughlin has the final say on game plans and emphasis... I think Cheerleader can be a bit of a pit bull...once he clamps down its hard for him to release. For him the running game MUST FLOW!!!... If it doesn't it must continued to be worked at regardless... And when have we ever seen Eli audible from a pass...to another pass... its almost always a checkdown to a run... Nas
Our Defensive line sucks donkey balls right now... asking from Hankin and JPP everyone else is shitting the bed... and Kiwi (nice guy) but isn't worth the money...
CrazedDogs
Hats off to the offensive line and Dallas' commitment to it with the 1st round picks... that too. I'm torn because Dallas embraced something I've been saying ever since I put on pads and sucked like hell on the football field - that the offensive line is the most important position on offense and should be the first priority when building a team. But of all fucking teams, it had to be Dallas?... really?....

Blindgreed1
128 yards and a 4.6 ypc avg wasn't exactly shutting Murray down Look at the stats by quarter compared to his other games. 73 of those 128 yards came in the first half. I'd say you did pretty good shutting him down. His only TD run was a whopping 1 yarder.
