Lughead
Cruz Randel Beckham Jernigan Manningham Tally Washington Harris Parker Holiday Harvey Will Washington Leap frog Tally and bump off Manningham ? Possibly challenge Jernigan?
Mr. P
I'd like Washington and Harris over Manningham and Talley at this point.

Herc
i want to see more of everyone from tally and below before i have any kind of opinion on them. i was definitely not as excited as most were around here to get mario back though
gmenroc
More I'm looking at it, more I'm thinking Holiday isn't going to make the cut. With kickoffs going out the back of the endzone, his value decreases to the point where he's hardly worth the roster spot. I liked the signing, but between the injury keeping him from practicing and the other guys who have shown they can return and receive...my excitement from his original signing has waned dramatically. Gotta agree with PDub on this one: I'd like Washington and Harris over Manningham and Talley at this point.
Treehugger
Parker might take Holliday's spot as returner if he doesn't heal up soon. I don't know why we'd keep more than a PR specialist anyway, with most kick-offs going for touchbacks these days. Harris looked good against the Bills. I'm not sold on Jernigan yet. Treehugger
Harris apparently had another very good showing at training yesterday.

I mentioned this, albeit a little differently, weeks ago. We're one of a few teams in the league to carry a pure longsnapper who serves no other purpose. That's a roster spot that has been covered by the fact that we generally only carry 2 QBs on the active roster. However, this offseason, we signed a PR (Demps) and a KR (Holliday), both of whom don't offer a ton of ability at their 'full time' position. That'd be a total of 3 positions of the 53, reserved solely for special teams guys. We'd automatically be thin elsewhere as a result and I really couldn't see keeping all 3, unless they showed they could back up their other position successfully. Demps has shown he could be a backup safety, though there's a bit of a log jam there with Brown, Rolle, Taylor. I think Demps sticks because they could fit him in there. Holliday however, hasn't shown anything as far as being a WR, because he has been injured and other WRs are showing KR ability in his absence. I think Holliday is eventually shown the door when we have to get down to 53. The fact that kickoffs are going out of the endzone only maginfies Holliday's uselessness at this point. Lughead
the Washington Fade for a TD against the Steelers made me think of A Plaxco TD. Any one else? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaU2WGRa0fY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAO0AwlH9KA the kid has some mega potential no doubt
Zelmo
Jerrel Jernigan shouldn't be on this team anymore. He certainly shouldn't be taking up a roster spot that someone who may actually have potential could be in. I'm not a fan. -Z

UK-Giantsfan
I reckon we keep 6 Cruz , Randle , Jernigan , ODB , Harris , Washington. Manningham , Holiday and Tally .......bye bye
Nas
I saw that too, but Plax didn't push off. He didn't need to... the defender was out of position.. but the bodies of Plax & Washington are very similar.
Allstarjim
I think it's going to be Randle, Cruz, ODB, Jernigan, Washington, and Holliday. Maybe swap out Preston Parker for Holliday. Fun fact: Washington has a receiving TD in each of the Giants' 3 preseason games, which accounts for 3 of the 4 Giants' TDs through the air this preseason (Kellen Davis, vs. Colts). McAdoo and Coughlin need to get Washington some reps with the first team to see if he can match his production against tougher competition. I think at minimum, Washington has played his way onto this team, and we could potentially have another Cruz-like story here.

Why the fuck can't they let the player just heal completely? I've seen this movie before...almost every year for that matter... hamstring is the one injury you don't fuck with... yet they rush guys back to "practice"... give me a fucking break.. why the fuck is the guy practicing if he's not fully healed because if he was fully healed he wouldn't have a "setback"... and TC can deny it all he wants but it's bullshit. He was kicked in the leg during practice. Don't know how the coaches can manage avoiding that. On Tuesday, the Giants' first-round pick receiver was ruled out of Friday's game. Beckham, who only recently returned from the sore hamstring that's limited him since the spring, was kicked in the leg during Monday's practice, and the team held him out of Tuesday's session. Coach Tom Coughlin insisted that the speedy receiver had not had a setback. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/odell-beckham-jr-practicing-giants-rest-day-rookie-article-1.1908960 They coaches arnt rushing him back, I think I've only heard of him practicing a few times since training camp has started.
