Tempest
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/10/01/chris-snee-may-need-season-ending-hip-surgery/ The Giants are 0-4, and their list of problems seems to be growing. According to a report by Tom Rock of Newsday, Pro Bowl guard Chris Snee has a tear in the labrum of his hip which may require surgery. Snee had a similar operation on his other hip this offseason, but the problem on the other side is limiting his ability to move. “This one has the pain, but he can’t move,” a source said. “If they don’t get the joint to move again, [surgery] is probably going to be the only option. . . . “[There's] not a lot of improvement from the treatments. It is not looking too good right now.” Snee missed Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs, the second game he’s missed since 2004. He was replaced by James Brewer, but that didn’t help matters. With a condensed schedule coming up (hosting the Eagles this week followed by a Thursday trip to Chicago), Snee’s short-term future is up in the air, and his long-term future with the Giants is as well.
