Carr would have been a good QB if he don't get hit 200x a year for 5 years in Houston.

 

Agreed...and glad you used the word "good" and not great or probowl or anything of that nature. He'd have been a solid starter, nothing more. But becuase he got his ass kicked repeatedly in Houston, he isn't anything more than a career backup at this point. Really is too bad for him.

Carr is an elite backup for our team.

 

Knows the system, looks great holding a clipboard and is much better then Painter at everything football related.

 

I'm confident that if Eli pulled a hammy, Carr could step in and win a game.

Good because it seems the Giants have issues getting a backup QB that doesn't mysteriously get injured.

 

I always found that frustrating.....of all the occupations on the planet, 2nd string QB has to be the least hazardous.
