UK-Giantsfan
Beatty , Stevie B , Hynoski , Cruz .... ? For me it has to be Stevie Brown .....and his sensational number of picks that should have been game changers.......just a shame we didnt capitalise with 7's instead of 3's all bloody year long Who is your team MVP guys ? ...and why regards UK
MikeGL
Stevie brown hands down. Guy was amazing and tied for most INTs with Jennings this year. He made a splash and easily was our best defender, even though that doesn't say much...

Bigblue25
Kenny Phillips we were a much better D when he played, he allowed Stevie Brown to be aggresive and make those picks

GorillaNJ
Wearherford... Should be an all pro punter for the next 10 seasons
JackStroud
Stevie Brown and it aint close........imagine if he were not on the roster what our record would be??
Storm
It really does have to be Stevie Brown. But I think if you look strictly at which players performing well had a direct impact on our W/L record, it'd have to be Ahmad Bradshaw. If he doesn't play or doesn't gain yardage, we lose. JackStroud
If you recall I was huge early Stevie Brown, and Andre Brown fan, and I fear we will lose both for the same reasons we Knick fans lost Jeremy Lin........sometimes you just have to believe what your eyes are telling you and open the wallet......I'd give Stevie Osi's money and hope it was enough
boohyah
Kevin Boothe, Stevie Brown and Weatherford. Honestly, I don't remember one bad punt all year.

JackStroud
Stevie also got burn a lot too... It's not only about about the ints. The whole team got burned, but Stevie had a magical 10 games.......imagine if started all 16?.........whats the Giants all time INT record....he would have it.....plus he forced and scooped up a bunch of fumbles too
Bigblue25
Stevie also got burn a lot too... It's not only about about the ints. We've seen how much better the D is when Webby gets safety help from KP.
osi724dasack
Kenny Phillips we were a much better D when he played, he allowed Stevie Brown to be aggresive and make those picks I agree. Every game he has played in besides week 1 and 2 we've played phenomenal defense. He's the straw that stirs the drink IMO.
Herc
thought kp was out when brown got the bulk of his takeaways in the first half? when did brown get burned today? when did any safety in the year 2012 when QB's can't be touched, wr's can't be touched and offenses drop back 50 times a game NOT get burned this year? osi724dasack
Nobody knocked Brown. Brown got more Ints because QBs continuously threw the ball at his hands. Love Brown. But BB25 is dead on about KP
GorillaNJ
I agree. Every game he has played in besides week 1 and 2 we've played phenomenal defense. He's the straw that stirs the drink IMO. Wish he was not made of straw and could play more then two games in a row injury free
Herc
yes, brown was knocked please scroll up and reread the thread. 6 of stevie brown's 8 interceptions this year occurred with Kenny Phillips out of the lineup.
JackStroud
yeah Phillips is a regular INT machine.......one full year recently he had a solid one INT...........the guy could not intercept Mark Sanchez LOL
JackStroud
You have to give Weatherford some credit too............he is far and away the best punter we've had since Don Chandler
Herc
he's pretty remarkable and he's young too which is nice because we won't have to keep fearing the day he'll retire like we did with feagles
Sephiroth
The Haggis Hammer. Yeah he blew two games for us, but he also had to kick sixty field goals a week.
osi724dasack
Yea I forgot INTs tell the whole story about a player. My bad.
osi724dasack
Brown is awesome. But he can't do what KP does. Nobody on the team can. Brown is a good athlete with a noes for the ball and I love it, but trust me, KP is a key in this D. It's pretty evident.
