I can understand a lack of motivation on a team like the Raiders. That said, it seems you'd benefit to use your first contract as an audition for your second, hopefully on a second team. Again, the talent seems to be there, but before signing him, I'd have to be reassured about his desire.

He got arrested for firing a gun off next to a guys head a couple of years back. Considering he sounds like a jackass and there isn't a whole lot of time to learn a new system I don't know how much he could help. On a side note the Raiders really have a knack for fucking up their draft picks.
