osi724dasack
From Adam Schefter: Quote: Giants CB Terrell Thomas is scheduled to meet Tuesday in Pensacola, Florida with Dr. James Andrews. But doctors who have examined Thomas so far do not believe he has a torn ACL and they are optimistic he will play again this season. JackStroud
Wow thats a radical turn of events He may just have a partial tear and they do heal..... I'm no doctor but that dude needs to start wearing a brace
JMFP
If it a sprained ACL that would be huge. Either way, the guy needs to shut things down for a while....no need to risk his career.
TrashTalker92
Agree with taking it easy. What's wrong with wearing a brace or some type of leg protection?? Better he heal as much as possible than risk it all right now
Gman329
Lets assume he's done for the year and possibly for good. Anything better than that is a bonus.

Tempest
I don't think the organization is really interested in having him sit this season. They'll put him on the pup list but if he goes on IR for the season, a lot of people are going to look at that contract he just signed and say we need to get out of this while we still can. No doubt that if he hits IR again this season that there's no way they're picking up the roster bonus in the Spring. They might offer to restructure to give him another year, but they're not picking up the 5 or 6 million tab...no way....and I wouldn't blame them. Storm
This happens every time someone on the Giants is thought to have torn their ACL. Our doctor looks at it, thinks it might not be, and they seek some knee specialist to look at it and it's nprmally confirmed an ACL tear. False hope. osi724dasack
Apparently Thomas's doctor "Dr. ping" is the one claiming it's not torn. So in all likelihood it's torn. That DR sucks!!! Why not just go Dr James Andrews all day everyday from the start??

I 3 ACLS on the same knee means he'll be released then offered back at Vet Minimum. Let's hope not.
TrashTalker92
This might be the only time I will say it. But fuck you JPP for screwing up T2's career!!!!
osi724dasack
This might be the only time I will say it. But fuck you JPP for screwing up T2's career!!!! Hate to say it but his knee was likely a ticking time bomb. Good thing it happens then and there so it gave our D the time to recover, adjust and recover mentally from the loss. Even if it happens this year we would have just given him a huge contract from his expected stellar season last year. Best of luck to T2, I really like the guy,
osi724dasack
If his knee blew out week 9 idk if our D could handle that type of loss. It's all hear say though.
