Keys to victory against ATL

Ok this game will be a tough one but I'm saying we got this by two scores of we can do most of the following.

On D

Force atleast 2 takeaways

Obviously get a good pass rush again

Keep clogging up the running lanes

Fewell must play a good scheme again

Get our beat talent on the field all at once on key plays ex...Osi, Kiwi, Tuck, JPP, Boley, KP, Rolle, Webster, Ross, Grant, Canty or JwIll for the 11th man.

On offense it's pretty simple

Eli just has to bring his A game and we will shred there secondary into grained sugar.

The running game will likely suck, but I want them to step up in short yardage.

ST

Just keep it real and contain returns and kick and punt real well.

Coaching

Fewell must bring a great scheme and make proper adjustments throughout the game and contain Julio Jones.

KG just let Eli do his thing

TC no stupid challenges or timouts.

Was hoping it would

Be really cold and

Clear out like today...

But as of now looks like 42 degrees and some light rain. So shouldn't effect AtL much and may even help since try run the ball well.

Fun

Fact

The giants are the 3rd team in NfL history to make the playoffs after finishing last on rushing.

The two other teams made it to the

08 Cards

09 Colts

1. Pressure Matt Ryan with the front 4 while maintaining coverages. If we can double one of the recievers every play, shifting that double team throughout the game between Jones and White and cover Gonzales with a LBer, I think we're in good shape. Doubling both WRs would likely allow Gonzalez to roam the middle of the field.

2. Avoid the big play. We can't allow 25+ yard plays.

Offensively, we really need to establish a running game. While Atlanta's secondary isn't phenomenal by any stretch and should be an advantage for our WRs, getting a running game going will allow us to win the time of possession battle.

Basically, if this becomes a shootout, I think we ultimately lose. If we win the time of possession in a slower paced methodical game, I think we win.

In-depth, flawless analysis. How will your first .....I mean......now second favorite team perform this weekend?

To me, I think this week, as it has all year, will be more about 1st down on D then anything else. If Turner gets going we will be in trouble. If Atlanta can run themselves into 2nd and 5 / 3rd and 2 the rush is nullified and Gonzalez eat's our lunch. Running well on 1st also sets up the speed merchants on the outside.

Turner on 1st down. there is your game.

Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. Win the turnover battle too.

I agree. This game will be won or lost with the play of the D-line.

If we get the line from the past two weeks, we win.

If we get the line from the six weeks prior to that, we lose.

Atlanta has done a good job protecting Ryan.....this could be a tough game.
