Dragon
What is with Eli and putting so much air under his deep ball? I've been watching highlights of last season along with the ones from last night and its like he's aiming at Heaven sign every time hs goes deep. Doesn't matter who it is on the route. They always end up slowing down to wait for the ball.
Storm
Agreed, what is up with that? The pick that was intended for Manningham goes for 6 if he puts some zip on it.

fringe
Good point. He's throwing like Chad Pennington.

Dragon
If we're seeing this, then our coaches HAVE to be seeing this. Why hasn't anything been done to get him to correct this?
UK-Giantsfan
ive seen enough over 6 years to know that Eli is just ordinary .....not elite ...never will be ....just managed my expectations ...he is ok .....will go down in the books as a decent QB who won a Superbowl with a lucky throw ...thats it

NightFire
Good point. He's throwing like Chad Pennington. Maybe we need to deal with that this is the QB the Giants have. Some of those throws last night were terrible. The Giants should have had another 14 points easy.
Dragon
I know that he has the arm strength to do it. It seems like an easy fix. I honestly don't get why it hasn't been corrected... or why Eli himself hasn't done anything to correct it.
JackStroud
Eli for many years had some relatively slow wideouts with good hands Amani Plaxico Smith etc He's never really adjusted to the fact Nicks and Manningham are lightning fast thus the Air Balls

I completely agree. Eli is good enough to win with, but anymore, I think he struggles to stay in the top 10 QBs leaguewide, and that may very well be with me being generous. P.Manning T.Brady B.Roethlisberger D.Brees A.Rodgers M.Vick M.Stafford J.Cutler T.Romo M.Shaub P.Rivers TB Buccs QB whose name I can't currently come up with All these guys are better than or at least as good as Eli. JackStroud
This is true but football is won and lost in the trenches when Eli has his running game going and good protection he can rip you apart......as can a lot of QBs

Treehugger
I think Eli's most comparable to Matt Ryan.
