BlueInCanada
Thanks Rik, had to steal it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leX0rYpk9wc http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=6431017 Overview Amukamara has the size, speed and awareness to start from day one and turn into one of the league's finer players at the cornerback position. Takes advantage of his instincts and smarts in zone coverage but also has the ability to hold up when asked to cover on an island. Possesses good overall ball skills and hands. Will help out and support the run. Durable, aggressive, competitive and hard-working. No major weaknesses in his game, but isn't a true burner in terms of straight-line speed. Amukamara will likely be selected early in the first round, possibly in the top 10. Strengths Amukamara is an exceptional blend of height, strength and speed. Very sound positioning and instincts in zone coverage and diagnoses quickly. Can play on an island in man. Uses size to press and re-route at the line, can turn and run and recover, and tracks the ball well. Willing and productive in run support. Weaknesses Not too many holes in his game. Does not possess elite fluidity and idles down a bit in and out of his breaks and when turning to recover. Can struggle at times to get off blocks near the line. Not a big hitter. Only has two-plus years of starting experience. Grade 8.5 Source Welcome to NY Prince Amukamara, top 10 talent we were able to get at 19. Should be starting across from Webby week one. JMFP
I'll take a top-10 player anyday.....and if it's a cornerback, I'm fine with that too. We can rush the passer, and cover....all we need is for someone to step up at LB.
Herc
can't have too many good corners and from what everyone was saying (i wouldnt know) he was the best player available. can't ask for more than that with the 19th pick

BleedinBlue
It's about time the Giants finally got a steal in the first round without having to give up a king's ransom to get it. The more I read, the more I like this guy. We've stockpiled DE's....we've stockpiled WR's....and now we've got a stockpile of CB's. What a great problem to have. Now if we can only find a stud LB somehow.
TrashTalker92
With this pick. We're so stock now. I'm beginning to think they might move deon grant to LB. Hahahaha. It's a wild idea but the formation we were playing last year who knows....

JMFP
With this pick. We're so stock now. I'm beginning to think they might move deon grant to LB. Hahahaha. It's a wild idea but the formation we were playing last year who knows.... Honestly, that is not a bad idea. Not sure if he could beef up at all. Of course, it would be nice if Sintim steps up. This is also one of those picks that late in the season, we might say, "thank God we drafted this guy". Aaron Ross has had a long history of bumps and bruises. It will also be interesting to see if Phillips is 100%.....he was not the guy in 2010 that he was in 2009. Either way, having Prince on board gives us the option to deal with our safeties as well. On paper, the Giants have the best secondary in the NFL right now.

It's a wild idea but the formation we were playing last year who knows.... Not a crazy idea, Buddy Ryan sometimes would take a safety who is slowing down and use him as a linebacker. Of course Buddy Ryan is batshit nuts, but not because of this.

Bigblue25
With this pick. We're so stock now. I'm beginning to think they might move deon grant to LB. Hahahaha. It's a wild idea but the formation we were playing last year who knows.... I do think we will see alot of nickel, so LB's are not a premium anyway. We will play 4-2-5 like we did last year. 3CB and 3S looks, I have us taking a LB in round three though, Jonas Mouton out Michigan. He could also play has a third safety, and all three LB positions. He doesn't seem to like Irish Catholics though, So I doubt the Giants take him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPYueAc5XAE&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1i_arSSM1w&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VAGVTgUzjs http://www.sidelinescouting.com/rankings/olb/jonas-mouton.shtml

LB Michael Boley LB 6-3 223 28 6 Southern Mississippi Safety Deon Grant S 6-2 215 32 9 Tennessee Deon Grant isn't too far from LB form..
