WolfA4
He has a horrible work ethic, but I wonder if he would be happy with the Giants and thus willing to play to his potential. Then again the Giants most likely wouldn't be likely to pay him the amount he wants to make him happy.
Iceman_NYG
We play a 4-3. He might be a good fit - strictly based on his ability and skills as a player. But its a huge gamble whether you want bring on board that attitude, whining, mental headaches and other distractions.
hlb37
great idea, Lets see if we can get Moss as well.
Nas
Gotta believe they'll just release him when the season ends. Be interesting to see who will take a chance on him. I see him lining up next to Seymour out in Oakland. Only in the highly unlikely scenario that he'd come cheap... I'm sure he can do better than Rocky Bernard. So I say never say never.. for the right price the guy can be a tremendous addition to an already great DL. But don't tell me he won't make us that much better instantly. Again all I'm saying is Hayensworth > Bernard. Can you imagine Fat Al and Cofield side by side?

After this debacle though I doubt he'll be getting much anyway if the Redskins decide to out right cut him.

Treehugger
Can you imagine Fat Al and Cofield side by side? Yes, but only for 10-15 snaps a game. The rest of the time I'm imagining Fat Albert sucking wind on the sidelines.
Virginia Giant
Don't under estimate his desire to prove himself. He has said recently he wants to be considered the best DT ever, And when he has the want to I have a hard time coming up with recent dt's that are beter than he can play. If he were cut, and got on a team that runs a 4=3 and also allows him to rush the passer, I can only imagine he will do all he can to prove his doubter wrong. He is extremely unhappy where he is, and on this team with the right motivation, he could be the one piece that send this defense over the top. The only active players that could have as significant an impact as AH are Patrick Willis, Mayo, Troy Palamalu types.
Gman329
I just saw Herm Edwards talking about Fat Albert on ESPN. He said even in his days in Tenn, Haynesworth was horribly out of shape and frequently had to come out of the game for all but a few plays in the 4th qtr. He also said, "I don't know if he loves football or what football can get for him". Haynesworth may say he wants to be considered the best but he has absolutely no clue of what it takes to get there. A guy like that is a cancer. Stay away!
