Storm
i thought he had a very good game. he did. he missed the one tackle for the first down... he had 85 tackles and 5 picks last year. I don't know how that's "consistently bad"...
Zelmo
His tackling was TERRIBLE today. TERRIBLE. He's just watching and playing patty cake. -Z

I don't know how that's "consistently bad"... He missed two tackles that led to first downs (if I'm not very mistaken). Also at one point when LaFell made a catch during the Panthers drive in the fourth he was just watching him. I'm not ragging on the guy all around but he completely didn't tackle today. -Z

I only saw the one blatant missed tackle where size wise, he was outmatched against a TE and his efforts did lead to the TE falling down, just not a 3rd down stop. NeMesiS
No, he had 4 miss tackles that lead to a first down for Carolina. 2 running plays (One he should have had Steward for a loss) and 2 absolutely horrible miss tackle on the pass. We're on the same page here..the guy can play. I just didn't like seeing what I thought was very lazy tackling on 3 seperate plays. -Z

CrazedDogs
Having a bad Tackling day? This guy is consistantly bad. Nem, no man!!! Terrell Thomas was one of the best CBs on run D in the league last year. It only seems like he misses a lot of tackles because he's in on so many plays; 85 tackles last year, and one of the league leaders on running plays. One inconsistent game doesn't make a career. boohyah
Terrell missed more than one tackle today, but he made some great plays overall and was solid. He's hardly the worst tackling corner in the league when Corey Webster is worse.
BleedinBlue
He seems to have a nose for the ball, but doesn't wrap up the guy well. Of course, no one seemed to want to wrap up a ball carrier today. They just threw their arms out and hoped they'd fall over from running into them. Special teams is a mess. Heck, every kickoff the Panthers returned the ball half the field. And everybody would have an arm on the guy and he'd just keep right on running. The whole team has a problem with wrapping up the player. Philips might be the exception as he looked phenomonal in stopping people he got his hands on. I like Thomas. He always gets to the ball carrier....he just needs to wrap up better once he gets there.
Treehugger
He played great OTHER than the open-field tackles that he completely wiffed on (3 by my count, 2 that gave up 1st downs). His technique in the open field sucks; you should never stop and let the opponent catch you flat-footed. It's a pretty easy fix and if they work on it he'll be a complete starting-caliber corner.
