NightFire
How come the Giants didn't stick with grass? I thought at one point they switched to grass but then for some reason switched back. Is it too hard to up keep or too cold in December for grass?
Balloonknot
The Grass Tray system they tried at Giants stadium turned into a debacle. They could not properly maintain it. They switched to turf again a few years ago

They switched to turf again a few years ago Yeah, with 2 teams playing on it each week..it took a real beating. Pretty sure the XFL even played on the grass as well..same for the Red Bulls. Giants went to grass in 2000 and then switched back after the 2002 season. Field turf is easier and cheaper to maintain and alot of players think its better than real grass actually.
