CrazedDogs
That was EAs draft. That was the Kiwanuka draft day shocker. "You never, ever have enough pass rushers," - Ernie Accorsi. Great quote. Reece was the #2 guy in the front office for that draft, he had tremendous influence on the Giants draft picks...in particular, its rumored, in drafting Sin Moss. Treehugger
what's the story with hixon? he's a world class returner. moss is world ass. I'm guessing he's still not 100%. Though 50% of Hixon is still better than 100% of Moss.
Treehugger
I didn't get to see the game out here...what did Moss do..or not do? C. Wagon Fumbled a punt return which lead to the Raiders' only score (with some big help from the refs on a non-fumble call for their RB). He also put on a clinic for how not to run upfield on his other returns. He had one good return (16 yards) out of seven attempts. Most were finger tackles. Well, at least he got touched before he hit the turf this week. So there's some progress.
fishgutmartyr
what is the problem with you retards and Moss WTF did you expect he'd be ib the pro bowl with his brother already? The guy is having a breakout year as is most of the team but Pierce who wiffed at the goal line yesterday AGAIN preventing the shut out LOL Hey Bubba....... fringe
Shane Lechler was booming the punts so far, Sinorice couldn't perform his patented "clear out" wave and actually had to field a few. That's where the trouble started.

That's fine, but it certainly seems that JR gets all the credit for the picks taken while he has been the GM. The GM has the final say on who is drafted as far as I can tell. I understand that they are heavily influenced by the scouts, but in the end it's the GMs final decision right? Either way, I've been holding out hope for Moss as I think I've seen flashes of a good receiver from him, but I'm finally done. I may be the last man jumping off the wagon, but holy shit. I'm not sure I've seen a player with such little football smarts continue to keep his job. He just looked aweful yesterday. He is constantly second guessing the running lane he chose. Always looking for the cut back lane rather than making the decision, and hitting the whole as hard as possible. That's what Hixon does, and that's why he is a great return man. Or is it his stellar 30th-ranked 6.7 yard punt return average you're referring to? It surely can't be his 69th-ranked kick return average.

Gspotter
Moss is just not working out as a pro. He's had enough chances. I'm not sure I wouldn't just call someone else up and put him out on the practice squad. He's nothing but speed, but he only seems to race off to the sidelines. JMFP
Exactly a genuine H-E-R-O of the game and NY Icon and we give him up for this cunt....just unbelievable...simply unbelievable.... Throw out Moss and a crappy call by the referees, and yesterday would have been as close to a perfect game that I've ever seen. Up by 28 points, with a defense that has completely demolished the Raiders, and this guy is trying to field a bouncing punt....not once, but twice. I almost spit my coffee out when they put him out there on the next return and he made the exact same decision to handle a punt on the rebound. Funny, but I don't recall Tyree having the same shit-for-brains.
fringe
*sigh* if only our punter could net 55 yards a punt. if you're looking for talent on that team, their kicking game is probably the best in the league.
Nas
I didn't get to see the game out here...what did Moss do..or not do? C. Wagon Everytime he returned a punt/kick, he pulled the running man dance on us... oh and he touched a bouncing ball during a punt and the raiders recovered it deep in our side of the field... which only cost us the shut out.
