I guess they've embarassed themselves enough that it makes them harder to hate.

nah. in 06 when the mets started to tear up the league i was mad after the mets won a game and the yanks won it too. then i thought to myself what the fuck am i doing letting a team so irrelevant to me get me down.

they do entertain me sometimes but i really dont care for them either way now.

Nem, did you see the game last night? Gardner tagging Papelbon for that game winner? Very impressive at bat from the kid.

Unfortunately No, Joe... I work weekend night and I forgot to record it on Tivo. I wish I could have seen A-Rod historic HR. But as always, I'm left reading about the Yanks in yankees.com... :(

Never Forgive? Who? Samuels for dropping the int, or Harrison for not knocking it out of Tyree's hands? Or Brady and the offense of the century for scoring only 14 points?

Our NYG for crushing their very hopes and dreams. Our defense for making a pancake out of their Supermodel QB. Our QB for making the entire northeast shiver when they see the name MANNING all together. Our gap-toothed defensive leader. Our Costco sized RB. Our other RB who always seems to have helmet issues. Our walking wounded WR. Our rookie WR that played like a seasoned vet. David Tyree. Our All Time Greatest WR. Our rookie TE that stepped in as a virtual unknown and emerged as THE MAN. Our Wall of an Oline. Our dominant DLine. Our Aggressive LB Core. Our Secondary that although not a premiere one played better than any of us could've hoped. Our ST for not giving up any big plays. And finally our Coaching Staff for out coaching the Belicheat staff.

I know this is extremely premature, but I liked what I saw from Gardner. He really handled the bat well....spoiled some nasty stuff by Papelbon before poking that basehit.

:cwy: this should be somewhere on that shirt Boo hoo. Patriots fans still can't get over the fact they were outplayed, outcoached and in the end just 'stomped the fuck out". Like my Super Bowl champion hat says WE wanted it more.
