RandolphScott
Wow a home run from Castillo, I would have thought Glavine would walk off the mound and just retire right there.

jranieli
Is it too hard for this team to have a good performance when you need it? Figures when the Braves are tail spinning they are doing this against the Mets. I am sure the Mets wont score another run.

jranieli
So how many fuck heads said that maybe this team can get on a roll after the Yankees series, wishful thinking. That two game roll we had is now over.
xxi-xxv
Hoo Hum, win a few lose a few. Its sad really that 2 years ago this team was so good. Could it possibly be that the Mets benefitted from a down year by the Braves and Phils and rebuilding in Washington and Florida? To let Glavine go 17 straight is just inexuseable, amazing, yet not surprising. To not try and play better is mind boggling, but not really when you consider its now 76-76 since June 1 2007. Ah well I am done being angry and pissed, it is what it is as they say and IT is NOT getting any better than really what we are. Best line I heard all day was by Gary Cohen(I heard Francessa say it as I did not watch the game at work)and that was "With the Randolph situation and what he said the Mets have yet again created another self inflicted controversy". Willie may have sealed his fate with this black/white stuff now. Oh well at least I can enjoy watching David Wright and Santana, .500 is better than most teams I suppose
gateb
Ultimately a .500 team will most likely win the WS. Unless its the Red Sox or d'backs.

jranieli
fuck, I thought they said the game was supposed to be postponed. Nice 2, 1-2-3 innings so far. A guy who has no experience and the Mets make him out to be John Smoltz.

jranieli
Did I just hear 6 strike outs? Thanks to our fearless coach for bring up the race card. Not because he is a black manager, because he is a shitty manager is why he gets heckled.

xxi-xxv
You know a while ago I would be really bothered by this, now its like yeah this is who they are, a team that is inferior to teams like the Braves and Phils. Sad, but not really when you reallu, honestly and objectively dissect the rosters, its not even close.
