420
Some funny comments on that article... Comments To This Article: Overall Rating For This Article: •••••••••• * Fred - Giants stink (02/14/2008 ) Good Job Pat!!! * - more important things to vote on (02/14/2008 ) Who cares that he won't cheer Giants?! Big stinking deal. Take the time to vote on something more important. * David - . (02/14/2008 ) What disappointments Murphy and Specter are. With all the woes in the country they waste their time with football. Never again will either get my vote. * Edward - Sportsmanship (02/14/2008 ) Poor Sport * Jason - He was a 700-level security guard? (02/14/2008 ) I don't remember seeing too many of those in my time up there * dave - Only in Philadelphia (02/14/2008 , Ratings: ••••• ) Once again a Philly sports fan shows their true colors. He might as well throw snow balls at Santa Clause. Oh wait...already happened. I do agree though that they should move on to more pressing matters. Even the steroids thing is getting a little ridiculous. I think we have bigger problems on our hands than who is shrinking who's balls. * Shannon - Inferiority complex... (02/14/2008 ) Philadelphia is thy name * David - Voting No on Giants Resolution (02/14/2008 , Ratings: ••••• ) At least Murphy was on hand to vote. For time wasting, blame the author of the resolution. * Bob - Hey Fred!!! (02/14/2008 ) Murphy and Spector will both be long gone from Congress before the Eagles ever win a Super Bowl. There's plenty of room for them and you on the Giants bandwagon. PS...it's good to be World Champions :-) * Doc - Nuke-yoo-lar war (02/14/2008 ) What ***** poor sportsmanship. But more importantly why waste time with these kinds of resolutions? And to think soon enough Bush will be hosting another Championship team courtesy of our tax dollars while Iran's nuke-yoo-lar capability grows. * Francis - We all get along (02/14/2008 ) As a lifelong Eagles fan, I congratulate the Giants. They are OUR rivals, and represent the NFC. The dirty secret of all Eagles and Giants fans - we all have a great buddy or family that is a fan of the other side. It's poor sportsmanship not to acknowledge what they accomplished. Also bad karma to be a poor winner, but that is for the winning fans to handle. How sweet was it that it was w/o Shockey and Tiki? Now to win one w/o T.O. Go Eagles! * Beavis - Giants Forevar!!! (02/14/2008 , Ratings: ••••• ) The Eagles will always be in the Giants shadow...Philly is the town with the most losers!!! Bitterdelphia...the City of Brotherly Shove!!! * ted - Could be more about this, some people at the local coffee club think this is a (02/15/2008 , Ratings: ••••• ) VP run for the murph with barack. Again those coffee drinkers were just thinking out loud. * Steve - Waste of time (02/15/2008 ) Between the House and this waste-of-time resolution, and Specter wasting time going after the Patriots' Spygate information, it's a wonder that anything gets done in our government. Wait -- NOTHING does get done! Just another waste of taxpayer dollars.... * Jim - Murphy is such a tool (02/15/2008 ) Murphy is such a tool. You cannot be a true NFL fan and not respect Eli Manning's comeback effort. * Tom - poor sportsmanship (02/15/2008 ) as a representative of the County and an example to young people, he should have shown good sportsmanship. It was a 412-1 vote for crying out loud. If NE players, fans and officials can acknowledge the FACT of what the Giants did, so should we all. I'm sure if he played sports he probably never shook the hand of the opposing team who won. he's embarrassed us all and tells kids it's OK to be a bad sport. if he took the loss too hard, he cpuld have privately watched a Rocky rerun and cried into his Guinness or Rolling Rock. Yo Pat, do the right thing next time, especially if it's going to be on something important. I feel badly if NY or Dallas needs your vote on a health or safety issue. Couldn't give them anything that might be an advantage during football season. Grow up. * Dennis - murphy (02/15/2008 ) Gee, like he has nothing better to do....I tried to get a straight answer out of his office as to why he voted for an ecomomic stimulus package that included rebates for MOST families, but not those with double incomes that will have their rebates limited because of income levels included in the bill. That was a few weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for an answer.

BIGBLUE01
I can definatley respect the guy. I would have done the exact same thing if anyone else from our div won it.
Lubeck
That is pretty sad. I mean if I were an Eagles fan I would be happy, but that would be because I'm a classless douchebag who spits on fans of other teams. But if the Eagles ever do win a SB I wouldn't mind my congressman voting to congragulate them, it is called good sportsmanship.
jranieli
He is a decent guy. Very respectable person in congress. A former Iraq war vet. Did you see what he had to say about the Cowboys?

I know he has an open mic there. I also know the owner. I am near Langhorne, about 5 mins up the road and yes, it is Bucks Co. This part of PA is not too hard. Just learn the I95 corridor! lol.
