RandolphScott
How? NE England gave up a 4th round pick for Moss. I think the Raiders would've taken Plax over that pick. How much did Stallworth sign for? My guess is we could've easily afforded him. 30 million.
gateb
Why not? TO landed in Dallas and everyone thought he would be a malcontent, no? The Texans passed on Reggie Bush, no? The point is we wouldn't have lost a thing by giving it a shot. We know Plax is better than a 4th round pick.. which is exactly what the Raiders got from NE. Then what's the point of trading Moss if they weren't afraid of acquiring a malcontent? The Raiders didn't want value for Moss. They wanted to dump him as the beginning of an attitude change in Oakland. Getting Plax would not be the first step in that direction. The thing that scares me is if we sign Stallworth at 30 mill and he's getting more than Plax than Plax will hold out and there might be some trouble. I've already heard Osi is upset with his contract that he signed a couple of years ago. He might hold out too.
NeMesiS
...Fred Robbins is the best Defensive Tackle that we have had in years. He gets pressure all the time! And Barry Cofield and Jay Alford are good young bucks. If anything, we are gonna need another defensive end in the near future, that is. Unless, we move Kiwanuka back to DE when he comes back. You probably haven't been watching the games this year.
Dragon
Based on the large deals given to Plax, Pierce, Mckenzie, and others in the last 3 years Based on the history of everyone in the Giants Organization finding one way or another to let its fans down. Feeling really pessimistic for some strange reason.

The Texans passing on Reggie Bush was understandable...they needed someone that could put some pressure on Peyton Manning....plus Bush hasnt done anything. He's too small...and making unrealistic cutbacks across the field and running backward to go forward may work in college(and for Barry Sanders), but the athletes in the NFL these days are way too, well, athletic for a Reggie Bush type player to succeed. Storm
You probably haven't been watching the games this year. He has 4.5 sacks this year from the DT position(a solid number for any defensive tackle) and is on pace to have his career high in tackles, as well. Teams don't run the ball well against us so that's Fred Robbins and Cofield holding up the olinemen for Pierce and the Safeties to make plays on the ball carrier. What more do you want? And Cofield and Alford have been nothing but solid for us, too. If anything, we need to get better at the Defensive End position against the run(not saying get different D ends by any means, just learn to play it better). Strahan has always been good at it but the other two, Tuck and Osi, are mainly pass rushing defensive ends.
