feefifoefum
This guy just keeps getting better and better. His stuff just keeps getting nastier. It's only the 5th inning, but this is the second time in a row that he's come up with a big performance when the Mets needed it most. Do we have an ace in the works? Our "stopper"? All hail John Maine, the Assassin!

Reaper
I am impressed with John Maine and Oliver Perez, both have stepped up since the NLCS last year!
feefifoefum
I am impressed with John Maine and Oliver Perez, both have stepped up since the NLCS last year! I expected Perez and Maine to step up this year, I did not expect Maine to be THIS good. I look forward to watching him pitch. In fact, when my wife asked me how many the Mets had lost in a row, I said "Four", and she made a face. I told her, "Don't worry, Maine is on the hill tonight." YOU GO BOY!!!
