Pelfrey and Humber especially, I feel need some time in AAA to work things out. Williams did a pretty good job last year filling in so I wouldn't mind giving him the fifth spot until one of the guys is ready or someone fails. Perez is a project at the fourth spot, so it's high risk-high reward. Compared to last years opening rotation I'd say it's okay. 2006- Glavine, Trachsel, Zambrano, Bannister, Martinez 2007- Glavine, El Duque, Perez, Maine, Williams (Move Maine to fourth to prevent a lefty-lefty-lefty scenario.) Pelfrey just needs time, the team rushed him up last year and all he had was a fastball, yeah, thats great, too bad all major leaguers can hit a 96 MPH fastball or else they wouldn`t be in the league. Heilman will never start a game for the Mets again... in my opinion. Well, as long as Willie is here. And I'm hoping Omar extends Willie's contract since he's in his last year.
