jranieli
BBI According NFLPA.org, the Giants have re-signed HB Derrick Ward to a 1-year, $385,000 contract. Ward was scheduled to be an Exclusive Rights Free Agent when free agency starts.
Chopper
This is a good thing, he is a good back who can spell Tiki once in a while. An upgrade over Cloud.
shockjock
Good job resigning him. I think he is a far better player than anyone gives the kid credit for.
xxi-xxv
This is indiction IMO that a new CBA will be reached ASAP. I like Ward and with Morton he gives a great option as a backup with Jacobs.

I hope so. Another good sign was that the deadline was extended yet again until 10:00. I wouldn't be surprised if it was moved to Tuesday at 6. CharlesShowMeTheWay
This is definately a good re-signing. Ward brings solid depth to the RB position and did a nice job last year taking some of the load off of Tiki.

jranieli
I think we tendered him. Yeah so we have the right to match any offer and if we don't get get a compensation draft pick. I hope that is correct.

NightFire
Lucky guess. Well not really because I think most people thought he was good but his injuries were a concern. Actually I am surprised that Jacobs and Ward are both having no issues yet this year. Anyway screw you Lughead for getting all our hopes up (at $384 no less). Nesta
Can't argue with that. The week before the Vikes game last year, I named Eli our 'future superbowl mvp'.
