Virginia Giant
Link He'd be a good fit. A DH who can catch to give Laird some rest.
gateb
For the right price that would be a great signing for you guys...
LorfTVP
I'm not surprised with Barajas leaving and the opportunity to have a strong hitter like that. Be wary of competition from the divisional opponent A's.

fringe
I heard the A's were interested in him as well to replace the Hurt.
gateb
The A's are gonna get Bonds. I've come to that conclusion ever since the fans gave him a rousing ovation after his 715th homer.

Nonsense, the A's don't sign big players. Barry to the Angels.
LorfTVP
Nonsense, the A's don't sign big players. Barry to the Angels. That makes no sense since the Angels don't have the money plus their outfield is already full with Matthews Jr., Anderson, and Guerrero. The Angels did promise a big move but I seriously doubt they're gonna sign Bonds to DH and no signs have pointed there so far.
fringe
No, Angels are not interested in Barry. A's are a possibility because he's the ultimate moneyball player. ( gateb, look at a map, those were giants fans cheering his 715) Here's an interesting article on who wants Bonds. Bonds, who wants him?

I don't see the A's ponying up the money, considering that they wouldn't go too high for Thomas. Piazza does seem like a good fit though.
