Early afternoon game today... hope the Bats wake up a bit and we start getting runs across the plate. They were getting guys on base against Strider and had his pitch count way up, just could not produce runs.

Nice win against the Braves last night... would be really nice to walk out of Atlanta wiht sweep. Sherser did look like whatever injury he had is in the past. The schedule has been rough on the Mets... 7 games in a row, then with no rest day fly to Houston for a night game followed by a day game. I would have loved to have seen the Mets play a 3-4 game series with Houston coming off a travel day, you know, how baseball normally schedules series.

Another nice won last night to take a series from a quality opponent. Need to sweep the Marlins this weekend and keep the good vibes going. The Braves have the Giants and Dodgers coming next week, should bring them back to earth a bit. Even if they are home for those games

A split from the west coast trip is not the worst result.. will be nice getting to watch more games. I was kind of annoyed that the game yesterday had no Ohtani and Trout was playing DH... The couple innings of Trout interview was annoying as fuck, I want Keith, Garry and Ron

The thing that kills me about Diaz, if the batter just stands there and does not swing he has a fair chance to get on base. He does have nasty stuff, but it seems to me he does not have much control and will wildly miss the plate. Can't start watching this team get injured... Did not hear anything yet about if they will be ready for tonight

Yes, every year he gets a 99 in Madden. Great might even be an understatement to how well he was in coverage, he would routinely shut down the other teams best WR, or take away half the field for passing. But you are right, was not the guy who was going to stick his nose in there and blow up a run He still runs his mouth better than most

A split with the Dodgers in LA.. really cannot complain about that with how good of a team they are. I just hate I do not get to watch much with West Coast games. I caught a bit of the 3rd game and I watched then listened to most of yesterdays win. Was really happy to see them bounce back after blowing the lead in the 9th. It feels like this team is very quick to respond after the other team scores a couple runs

Can't get too worked up about June camp booboos ... now if he is non-contact come training camp we will start freaking out

It is a great feeling that when the team goes down I do not feel like it is a guarantee loss. Nice watching Plummer starting off crazy hot. Obviously he is going to come back to earth, but it is fun watching him come up and swing that bat so hard

Hate to see a team put up 12 runs and still lose the game.. I was sleeping through most of it, but was woken up just in time to see the Giants get the game winning hit against Diaz... When he is getting guys to swing at his slider he is unhittable, but when that slider is missing the plate and the batter has plate discipline it is a nightmare to watch.

Hard to argue with him there.... Although if cookie Monster read us the Injured List I think we would still be pissed

Split against the Cards yesterday... It is nice to watch the game and feel like at any time they can put up some runs with some clutch hits. I think it was the 6th inning of the second game it actually felt strange that they squandered bases loaded with only one out.

I realize the level of athletics is vastly different... but my son had the same knee injury in September and he is just getting cleared for full sports this week. At least according to his surgeon, this surgery is normally very successful. The challenge is going to be when the knee starts getting twisted or quick changes of direction. If Lemieux can come back strong and start playing the way it looked like he was going to last year that is a huge win for this line

I will be competing you for this... One of my wife's co-workers won a trip to the superbowl this year, the seats were upper deck, but it included 3 days in some swanky Beverly Hills hotel plus 3 meals/drinks a day. They are not even football fans

They keep on winning series... the pitching is solid and the bats are popping.

I am looking forward to this season... I think Jones is going to have a career season so long as he stays healthy, and even better if the players around him also stay healthy!
