  1. He must have gottn a piece of hair infront of his eyes
  2. And that is why LoDuca is a great 2 hitter
  3. How can you tell the difference between Glavine's fastball and change up?
  4. 1. SS Jose Reyes 2. C Paul Lo Duca 3. CF Carlos Beltran 4. 1B Carlos Delgado 5. 3B David Wright 6. LF Moises Alou 7. RF Shawn Green 8. 2B Jose Valentin 9. P Tom Glavine From Mets.com
  5. the game is too fuckin late. Why dont they open at 1:00 or even 4? My sister is having a party but I am not going there at 8, some of us have to work tomorrow I will just have to watch the game with the wife and drink a couple of beers.
  6. He's going to change BRASS MONKEY? My wife wrote in Sexy Boy- Shawn Michael
  7. I could not see the Lions trading down 17 spots to get Michael Strahan... but I would be all for it With the number 4 pick, I do not even know if you go WR- maybee you go Willis at LB or Hall at CB. Allthough a top flight WR could really make this offense difficult to plan against. Power running game combined with a downfile passing game and an all pro TE in the middle
  8. I like the sound of this signing, Three bruising RBs in the back field will lead to one hell of a smash mouth running attack. Lets not forget Shockey has shown some good run blocking in the past two seasons too. This offense still needs a WR with Tim Carter speed and 10 fingers on his hands and it would be very hard team to defend against.
  9. EA would have cried if Emmons was on the bench.... with him gone alot of EA's fuckups are out of town or will not see playing time due to thier paychecks..... Drafting a LB in the first round is the way to go, and I hope he gives Chase a run for his money. If the last three seasons have taught us anything DEPTH IS MOST IMPORTANT
  10. How about get all shitty players to keep the cost down. We could be like the Lions and suck ass and pocket the money and keep ticket prices down.
  11. NY Mets IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Pelfrey (W, 1-0) 5.0 7 1 1 0 1 0 1.29 How does he not make the squad.... he had another pretty good day, with an ERA of 1.29 for the Spring!
  12. They could probably double the cost of season tickets and they would still sell out the stadium every sunday. Winning record or not, GIANTS fans will put meat in the seats. I think it is fucking obserd how much it costs to go to a game, but Supply and Demand dictate the ticket prices.
  13. Yeah, if I were him I would have started to loot the jewlery store.
  14. El Duque needs to do two things for this team. Win in the first 6-8 weeks of the season then Eat up some innings for the last 6-8 weeks. I do not understand why they slotted him as #2 except for Ego. Maine, Perez and Pelfry are all very good/ young pitchers who can really make an impact if they step up this season. Duque needs to help out as they get into their groove at the beginning of the season. When Pedro comes back after the all star break El Duque (If he is still healthy enough to pitch) should step back as a spot starter/ long relief. Maybe it is overconfidence but I think the METS will have the NL East tied up by the end of July.
  15. The one thing that LoDuca gives you as a #2 hitter is that he does not strike out (32 last year) compared to D.Wright (116). Putting the ball in play gives Reyes the chance to move from 1st to 3rd. Maybe moving Wright to the 2 hole will result in less strikeouts but do you think it could cut them by 3/4? I would like to see Wright in the 3 but Beltran has been doing well there so why fuck with it?
  16. Reese is just being smart not paying top dollar for decent players. The Porter deal still boggles my mind
  17. He will want more $ then New England will spend on a OLB
  18. I could not see Reese getting rid of Strahan... except he is a media whore and with the other Camera Dive Tiki out of the locker room this might be Coughlin's chance to slam his iron fist. But Strahan is one of the most beloved Giants and has been a defensive centerpiece on a team that historically prides itself on D. Do you think he would hold out if they did not restructure his contract? Short of that there should be no reason to re-negotiate, especailly up!
  19. I think that is as high as the offer should go. Any more then that a one year running back with attitude problems would not be worth it. There are a lot of RB's whose names are floating around and quite a few in the draft this year, I would be surprised to see anyone making a big time move for McAghee
  20. The steelers averaged 35 rushes a game during their superbowl season.... I do not know what to think of McGahee, especially for a 1 season stint and then to see him go elsewhere. If they could get him for a late round draft pick and some scrub off the practice squad. Especially considering this is supposed to be a deep RB draft we should be able to pick up a shifty back to carry the ball 5-8 times a game.
  21. Im not sure, but I think it was to clear salary under the cap to sign free agents with. Plus it is the stand-up thing to do so Luke can go and look for another team. Im not sure what sort of $ Ohara is looking for but I would hardly call him any better then Above Average Center. He shouldnt get Great Center or even Good Center $ in a long term deal.
  22. That is if his leg is healthy and if his back holds out.... for 5 million dollars
  23. Sure, he would be a quality starter at the back of the rotation, especailly come playoff time. So long as US is your beer league softball team
  24. just what we needed a past his prime mediocre pitcher... great move You know I heard Cy Young was considering a comeback, maybe we can invite him to Florida!
