  1. They just said Shawn Green's recipe in the Mets cook book is Matzah Ball Soup LOL
  2. As it is there are strip clubs and sex shops on 17...... If the new ones are walking distance that would be excellent. The only better thing would be a couple of gigantic sports bars
  3. Every RBI goes to some fund for kids to play baseball.... I think it should go to classes for kids to learn how to speak English. Maybe Carlos can sit in on one or two of them too
  4. Eli has not had a bad enough season to say get rid of him... thats for certain. He has taken the team to the playoffs his two years as a starter, depite multiple injuries on both sides of the ball and an inept coaching staff. Has been middle of the pack in passer rating and near the top in TDs thrown. He was not worth 2 first round picks.... but if he keeps up a 77 passer rating and making the playoffs everyear he will not be an All-Pro but he will be a GIANT for a long time.
  5. I think Spags can be the best thing to happen to this team. Getting away from that bend dont break Zone D horsehit will go a long way. Tom Coughlin is our biggest problem, he will be the anchor that brings this team down. His hissyfits on the sidelines and lack of leadership skills will loose us at least one game this season. The best coaches are never rattled, sure some get angry but they always stay in the game.
  6. The though of Kiwi and Strahan coming from the same side will send chills down the spines of many O-coords. Osi will be able to rush free on the other side. The reason this D has sucked balls the last two seasons was the lack of blitzes and zone defense. Two things we do not have to worry about from our new DC
  7. What do you know, one of our pitchers born after Lyndon Johnson presidency is putting up a strong performance.
  8. He has always been the type of QB to just chuck it deep and hope for the best....especially if he is under pressure. I think a new QB coach is just what Eli needs, someone to work on his footwork and mechanics. Gilbrite as OC should help out too, tailor the play calling to eli's strengths. The other big factor this year will be his Recievers... Will Plax show up every play? Can Moss or Smith step up and become a threat? How will Toomer recover from his injury? How many balls in the hands will Shockey Drop? Can BJ be threat to catch short passes out of the backfield, and can he pick up the blitzer?
  9. The Yankees played it smart let them throw their junk off the plate and waited on the high 80mph fastballs. Both pitchers started the season strong, but I think their old arms are tierd and unable to get strikeouts on fast balls. Those old pricks make me worry come playoff time, if they are pitching like this before the All-star break I will hate to see what they look like come September. They both might need a couple of weeks on the DL

    Glavine

He's 1000 years old....his arm is tired. He needs two-three weeks off and he might regain the energy he had early in the season.
  11. There is a QB in Green Bay that has made a career out of doing just that......
  12. The yankees loose..... the YANKEES LOOSE
  13. SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU SWING! and Damn Gomez is fast
  14. Grandpa isnt exactly the 1st basemen I would like to see today..... Maybe let Green DH with his bad wheel
  15. Great AB by Delgado Does he need a day off
  16. Come to the plate without trying to bunt... especially with none on
  17. So you are already conceding tonights game with Clemons on the mound...... Its going 2 out of 3 for the orange and blue!
  18. The Mets bats woke up today in Detroit.... 7 runs in the 8th, still down a run
  19. I am becoming less and less impressed with our fearless leader. Pitchers can pitch more then 7 innings, Im not sure if he was aware of that until last night. Julio Franco is 1000 years old and is batting .182 why is he the big situation pinch hitter? Joe Smith is kicking ass, Could you see him as a better setup man then the master of the changeup? Bunting is not the greatest way to get a hit... yes we have some blazing speed on this team, fast enough to turn a single into a double and a double into a triple... but not fast enough to do anything with a bunt that everyone knows is coming.
  20. They should not have brought Wags in for the 8th, i dont care if he owns Howard. they should not take him out of his routine, he is used to warming up in the pen coming to the mound throwing his 8 pitches and going after three batters. when he breaks that pattern he shits himself
