  1. But did you hear him checkin out the broad in the eye black.... Hmm Nice Tan, Id sure love to give her a mustache ride (Some of that was internal Dialog)
  2. Carry the load does not equal being Tiki Barber... in my mind. Playing like an All-Pro 10 year Vet in your first season is a little bit to ask of the man. He can carry the load as RB and still be half the player Tiki was
  3. TC is a horrible coach. With his pissing his pants antics on the sidelines on every missed call or botched play. And those sweater vest should be put in a pile and burnt. My Chest is freezing but my Arms are SOooo hot ( Last Comic Standing) He was the man in charge when our D was playing Flag Football rules and When our offense was as predictable as an episode of M*A*S*H The thing that is not on that list is we lost arguably the greatest rusher in NYG history. There is no way to expect BJ to step in and bring to the field what Tiki did. Tiki was a great all around RB who gave 110% every play, he was dependable on long downs and had the juevos to fight out a short gain where needed. Missing him is the number one concern for me.....
  4. It was nice to see them tie up in the 9th and then fight out a win in the 10th.... maybe this starts the playoff run
  5. BTW.... Kieth Hernandez's wife is hot
  6. Kiner's Korner was the shit. :worshippy: I like when he comes in for a couple of innings, gives some Old School perspective, sounds like he is drunk
  7. HoJo needs more then 6 hours to have an effect......
  8. I thought he was going to replace Julio Franco and make our team younger
  9. Glavine is hardly a quality starter, he can come out and shit a duck anynight, same with El Duque. Best case they will each need a couple of weeks rest to be ready for a playoff push. Contreras does not seem worth Milledge to me, but Buehrle would be. Unless outfielders start getting healthy real quick Millage will continue to be a Met.
  10. We need a 2nd baseman that can either hit in the two hole or bring some speed (and consistency) to the bottom of the lineup and let LoDuca stay in the 2 hole. This is key because the top of the lineup gets on base but cannot get runners across the plate. There is a certain old man who occasionally pinch "hits" who needs to get out of the line up. He might make a nice bench coach, but his inability to hit a fast ball ties our hands with a roster spot. Maybe they can give HoJo a chance at playing first and let Franco be the first base coach..... Our fearless leader in Willie is not impressing me, ever hear of a hit and run? Maybe a double switch? Benching you star player for 6 outs to do what? prove a point? taking him out of the starting line-up until after the all-star break sends a message. Maybe that message gets to your other millionaire batters that cannot get their average up above .300 I hope this team catches fire starting in August and can ride that wave to hanging a pennant in Shea Stadium.
  11. in a 16 game season 1000 yards is not the accomplishment it once was. If he can stay healthy he only has to average 62.5 yards a game to hit 1000. IF he stays healthy and IF he is the feature back of this offense he will get 1000 yards or we are looking into the teeth of a 3-13 season. I think we will see a different approach from BJ this season. Knowing that he is the man and should expect to touch the ball 20+ times a game, he might step back some of that over-anxious behavior (Not following blockers or over-running them) and work on getting around tacklers instead of just bulldozing them everytime. I am expecting to see a huge season out of BJ, I just hope I am not setting myself up for a major disapointment. TC is still our head coach you know
  12. If he can just continue to play the same way from week 9-17 that he did in the first 8 games he would be having all-pro seasons. That is directly attributed to the health of his team mates
  13. I dont think Glavine did either.......fucking Brave
  14. You can see Steve Phillips cringe everytime he has to talk about the Mets, or any of his failures. Three weeks ago when Kaz was batting .320 you could not wipe the shit eating grin off his face....I wonder what he has to say now that he is back bellow .300?
  15. He should go play first base for his nieborhood bar's softball team. his bat speed should be enough to pull high arc pitches.....
  16. 101..... He could have worked through the inning
  17. :furious: :furious: :furious:
  18. Why pull maine? He is up 4 runs gave up just his 4th hit of the game. Willie should have left him in to the the CG. Wagner already went once today, and it is a non-save. this could be a problem
