On the FAN this morning they were talking about this and said the Saints were offering a package with the 2nd round pick and something, the Giants wanted Harper but the Saints rejected it. They were looking to possibly throw in a later round pick. I could not see trading a Pro-Bowler in the prime of his carrer for a second round draft pick and anything less then a starting player in a position of need. If Spags thinks Harper can fill in and be a solid starter for the next 3-4 years it is a good move. Otherwise I want to see number 80 lineing up for the Gmen.

Why would their offense be unstoppable? So what they have two Big recievers who can get down the field. Do you think they would be happy with less then 10 passes each? Could you hear them bickering Moss had 12 passes and I only had 8........ Or why do I always have to go across the middle and he gets to run deep posts... They would be forced to abandon the run and have to depend on Tony Romo.... plus I am not sure what their cap situation is, but if Moss gets his $ it will have to come from somewhere. Do they give up on Defense and just try to out score teams.... we know how well that works out.

I do not see Amani coming back for another season, if he leaves now he leaves as the all time Giants Leader in receptions (and TD's too I believe) a superbowl ring on his finger and good health. He might want to just spend the summer chasin the muff around instead of getting ready for another season. It would be great to draft a WR with some speed and hands. If Tim Carter could have caught one of three balls thrown at him he would have been a real threat. I have not spent any time looking into this draft class, but with the last pick I think the team needs to be looking for the best talent available.

I just like the skill competitions that ESPN will start to play in the next week or so.... bench press, sprints, hands drills, obstical course and the QB throwing contest. Lets not forget the Trick Kick contest. I thought when Osi was the only Gman selected he should have pulled a Moss/Brady and stayed home because he stubbed his toe.

I thought there was less "ticker tape" then the two other parades that I remember.

I had taken a personal day today, so I am only going to check out the parade for a bit right at the start. If you wanted to hang in the Patriot bar I could get there around 3:45
