I only caught bits and pieces of the game, but that is one nasty curve ball he throws. If he can gain some more control with it and back it up with a slider or a good change-up he could become a very good pitcher. I think he is trying to work the pitchers too hard... instead of jumping on pitches early in the count he seems to work them to 3-2... When is the last time he got a hit on 2-0 or 0-1?

I don't know about Woodson, the day I saw him in training camp he threw 3 pics basically right to the defender and had two balls knocked down. I think Carr is a HUGE upgrade over Lorenzen. It is not even close. Carr has been a starter in the league and has a lot of physical talent, let him line up behind the Giants O-line and he can be a serviceable QB.

That is how people get hurt.... like just happened. They are getting so much pressure without bringing any blitzers

That is because he is 5"2'..... I was shocked how much smaller he looked then everyone else on the field Saturday, almost like they let someone's kid get on the field. Being that short he really needs to get separation down field on a deep route. When do the final cuts need to be made? It will have to be after the final pre-season game, the player who does the best in those 3 games will stick around, there is no way to pick one now.
