I seriously doubt that will happen.... is it possible? I suppose... but after watching this team play so bad I have no confidence that those games will be anything short of blow-outs.

If you are ever in downtown Manhattan I can take you to several closed bars, and ones that used to be shoulder to shoulder that you can now readily get seats in.

I really do not think the team should tank the season... it is only week 12, that is a mentality that is ok for fans to have but not players. Sitting Eli really does not accomplish much, let him play with his young WRs no reason to have them work with David Carr who in all likelihood will be starting for a different team next season. Fire the fuck out of the coordinators, replace them with interim guys already on the staff and tell TC it has been a great run, but he retires after the season is over. A new Head Coach (Bill Cowher) needs to come in with his selected assistants and they need to turn this team back into the power football team that has made it great across it's entire history. First thing, is NEVER line up in the Shotgun for a running play on 2nd and long... NEVER AGAIN!

Tell that to all the bars that have closed up downtown since the smoking ban came into place... Inconsiderate? The bartender used to sell me the fucking cigar. Maybe you should have looked around for non-smoking places, I knew several in Soho... normally they were restaurants with small bars in the front. Same goes for NJ, there were tons of places here that had either no smoking or no smoking before 10. This comes down to the main difference between you and I. I believe in personal freedom and you think that you should tell everyone how to live.

A cigar takes about an hour and a half to smoke... that is a pretty long trip. Plus there were several non-smoking restaurants in and around the city before the ban. There are plenty of people who think like you and hate smoking, so people did and would continue to cater to you. Think about it, if you are a bar owner you would hate sending people outside for a smoke. That is how many less drinks you would sell. How many people bounce on bar tabs when "stepping out for a smoke". how many people who are going out for a smoke decide to check out the bar down the street... or someone like me who lights up a hour and half long cigar that he is going to back with whiskey the entire time and now almost never goes to the bar.... bar owners are loosing money hand over fist.

Bars are not public places they are privately owned...The owner should decide if he wants to allow smoking or not. I agree with you on indoor public places like train stations, court rooms, police stations, the post office and the such, but not open air places like a park or on the street.

Nice, first thing I would do is make it illegal for any state or city to outlaw smoking in bars. There was nothing better then getting out of work on Friday, going to happy hour with some friends, sparking up a nice stogie and ordering up a couple of rounds of beers and shots. Now we do not even go to the bar, just home.

They are totally different style coaches... Cowhers Steelers teams were a run first power offense and an attacking defense. Coughlin and his ASSistant coaches are playing finesse football with a 270lb running back and read and react defense with a mildly talented young secondary.

What do you think about 11-5 now... this team of ass lickers will be lucky to get another win this season.

And how did that same exact situation work out in the Chargers Game?

I am not saying a pass play is a bad call, what I am saying is throwing 30 yards when you need 2 is not going to end in your favor more often then not.

You would be fucked up for checking it out either way. It was a dumb play call, even if it did work. How many times was that same exact play an incompletion two weeks ago?

I called that play to my buddy. "Watch this fuckwad is going to throw a 30 yard pass here... ha ha ha...... WTF he actually did!" If that ball was dropped Gil would be unemployed today....

You cannot really believe that there is a chance this team goes 11-5. They luckily got the win yesterday and have not played a complete game since they faced off against the juggernaut that is the Oakland Raiders.

I still do not buy into it... this team is still the shit that lost those 4 games in a row. Any win from here on out is a pleasant surprise if you ask me. I was ready to jump on the bandwagon until the defense disappeared sometime in the 3rd QTR.
