  1. The bye week can bite my fucking beanbag. Two Sundays in a row with no Gmen... then next week is a 4:00 game. Do the schedulers realize how hard it is to stay sober until 4!
  2. I don't know Reynaud seems to find tacklers, and is almost always taken down by the first man to come within 5 yards of him. I agree the coverage leaves much to be desired but even bad coverage looks better if the guy with the ball can make someone miss.
  3. If you are TC and the Giants coaching staff how do you stop these turnovers. They turned a dominating performance into a close game. They lost us a game against Tenn... and will bite this team in the ass against good competition. Running backs, is obvious to work on drills where they carry it high and tight.. but those drills have to show up on the field. Several times AB had that ball hanging out as I screamed at the TV. WR... Catch the god damned ball when it hits you in the hands, or at least do not hit it up into the air. I understand the passes were high and hard but popping it up for the secondary is not an option.... and Nicks we all know your hands are huge but tuck that fucking ball away. QB... Eli has to stop throwing high to WRs in double coverages especially on medium routes, and has to stop forcing the ball. With the Defense he has backing him up punting really is not that horrible of an option.
  4. I was thinking the same thing! Don't worry though he will suck again next game
  5. I really could not see the Giants going into Dallas and taking the game lightly.. This is the sort of game Championship teams win. The Giants have enough advantages on Defense alone to win this game, but it will come down to execution, avoiding penalties, and God willing adequate special teams play.
  6. Defense has to bail out the Special Teams...
  7. If you have a broad as the side line reporter she needs to look more like this....
  8. He is questionable WITHOUT a sprained ankle....
  9. What the Redskins have going for them is McNabb, as much as I do not like him he wins games... in the regular season at least. Any close game in Washington he gives them an edge. The biggest weakness of the Gmen is special teams. That is the weakness that hurts you the most in close games. Fucks up field position and leaves points on the field. It is a major flaw, and more likely then not will be the downfall of this team. It lost us the Tennessee game, and will end up costing the gmen again this year. The Eagles are going to be tough if Vick is running the show, he adds an element to the game with his running ability and experience. If Kolb is running the team it will lead to question marks as to how they will hold up against top defenses and in pressure situations. Plus a QB controversy in Philly will not help them at all. The Cowboys have the worst QB to have behind a poor offensive line. Romo is a duck and chucker like Brett Favre.. especially the longer the game goes without them scoring he will force balls into double coverage and throw INTs.
  10. That is why I wanted to see a picture of it... it looked to me that it was a clean hit bellow his head
  11. unless the holder also prevents him from landing a kickoff past the 10 yard line....
  12. No picture of the Goff "personal foul" hit...
  13. I hope they send him to Buffalo for the winter....
  14. October 4, 2010 Dear Mets Fans: Thank you for your support during another extremely disappointing season. Like you, all of us at the Mets had high expectations for 2010 and we did not come close to meeting them. Since reaching the National League Championship Series in 2006, we have underperformed. The failure is unacceptable and we share your anguish. As Ownership, we are ultimately responsible and have determined that changes are necessary to produce a winning team for the long term. Earlier this morning, we relieved Omar Minaya of his duties as Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations & General Manager, and advised Jerry Manuel that we are declining to exercise the club's option on his contract as Manager for 2011. We appreciate all that Omar and Jerry have done for the Organization and thank them for their time and effort. Changes like these are never easy, especially when dealing with people you like and respect. We feel a fresh perspective in the leadership of our baseball department will elevate the performance of our club. That person will work with Ownership to hire a new Manager and will be responsible for creating a winning culture. We have a lot of work to do to regain your confidence and support. Thank you for the opportunity to do so.
  15. He does unleash some monster kicks when he hits them right. I wonder if he could kick-off? Maybe after he gets his punting down pat.
  16. Overall was there a lot of cheering during the ceremony? On the webcast all you could really here was Papa's voice with almost no reaction in the background.... although I could make out some boos for Tiki
  17. Too bad he can not return kicks.... but with the blocking the ST puts out there I doubt even Zeus would average more then 15 yards a kick.
  18. Carl Banks more or less pinned this loss on Special Teams and their lack of passion playing. He talked about the start of the 3rd qtr, kickoff returned to the fifty, punt downed at the one and a botched free kick that turned into a TD. Then the holding on the next kickpff started their drive at the 15.
  19. Have to say I am pretty damn happy with a Superbowl trophy... so I would have to put Rivers 3rd.... and Ben is a rapist who does not wear a motorcycle helmet... So how many games has he missed for being an asshole? How many more are to come?... Give me Eli any day
  20. It is not Hedgecock swing pass that's for certain!
