Regardless the reasons he is drastically taking a hit on this contract year. True teams evaluating him will go through the tapes and watch all of his plays and break down his routes and how often he is open and not passed to... but gaudy numbers always equal a bigger contract. Maybe it is that Eli has lost confidence in him? Eli is struggling this year and seems to been scaling back his chance taking the past couple of weeks and that means more action for Cruz across the middle and a shit ton of check downs to TE/FB/HB... I will be shocked if he is a Giant next season, I also see him being a steal in the FA market for some team, hopefullly not in the NFC East.

WEll perhaps it was not a dream about this year... Seeing Eli lift another Lombardi while wearing Giants Blue would make him a lock for Greatest Giants QB and possibly put him in the greatest Giant ever conversation....

Oakland - win, it all starts with this game. If they come out and shit the bed, I think the rest of the season is just going to get uglier. But coming off a bye week, getting healthy, on a winning streak... this is a must win game. Green Bay - Win. Green Bay with out Rodgers is a totally different team. The defense has shown if nothing else they can stop a running attack when there is no passing threat. Dallas - win, I cannot imagine losing to Romo twice in one season. @ Washington - lose, Classic Giants move here... look hot, having things in our favor, fuck it up with a flat performance @ San Diego - Win. The type of Game that gives Eli a hard-on. He wants to show Rivers that he deserves more attention Seattle - lose, The Seahawks are going to be a tough win for any team this year. A couple of turnovers turn it into a real morale buster @ Detroit - lose,it seems un-natural to pick the Lions here. By default I believe Detroit will lose most games and in my mind I can see the Giants going in and winning an impressive game, which is why I would bet the opposite happens. Washington - Win, because fuck them. At best the Redskins are a flawed team, last game at home probably some one's playoffs are on the line here, team steps up and wins a hard fought game to end the season. 7-9 Fall short of playoffs end up with mid-first round pick... so yes, worst case scenario.

If the voice mail this guy left did not call him a half nbomb I doubt the media makes any sort of deal about it. Like Tree said this guy quit for being harrassed and yes it was reported but 0 fucks were given. The defense has also been helped with the lack of turn overs... between field position and time to rest between defensive series that is a big difference makers. I know the Eagles and the Vikings are nothing to get TOO hot about stopping... but Adrian Peterson has made defenses look stupid, even when they were just keying off of him on every play... AND the Eagles hung 36 points on them just a couple weeks back.

I cannot imagine Eli getting benched... or how he would act if he was benched! Maybe if the Giants can get a big lead on some team (Spiked gatorade buckets) maybe you let Eli run the offense from the sidelines and have Nassib finish the game.

I think defenses are getting wise onto the progressions and knowing what routes they are sending receivers to... A lot of the ints are almost right to defenders with a receiver out if position. Not much happens on accident. The lack of a run game really hamstrings Eli passing game

What sort of trade value do you think he has?? They will not pay him top dollar this off season... Think we get an oline player and a second round draft pick? He has skills and size to step into a team and contribute on a playoff run.

Banks is one of the best analyst in all of football. Smart with the résumé to back up his words... What is his motivation to give that up? Not everyone can coach especially if their heart is not in it. He might be better putting the pads on and playin this year

I heard Boomer talk about it on the show... and he was uncharacteristicly dickish about it. I mean Boomer is kind of a pompus asshole but there was a genuine dislike you could hear in his tone of voice.
