  1. I think the idea of a player like Didi, a top pitching prospect, and a young major league ready prospect is a good starting place. I would think 2 top minor league position player prospects would be a signed deal with me.... But Mets ownership does not want to hand the Yankees a World Series ring. I only wish the Mets had traded Harvey to the Yankees two years ago
  2. They can trade DeGrom from a power position... worst case they have him and all his talent for next to no money for the next couple seasons. if someone wants him they need to come with a big offer, one that is too good to say no to.
  3. The Mets will never trade with the Yankees.... unless they are going to pay a kings ransom. Degrom might be the best pitcher in baseball, and we are wasting him
  4. Fucking finger injuries? How are the Mets so lucky with this bullshit
  5. Not going to win many games scoring 1 run
  6. 1. Players on the kicking team cannot line up more than one yard from the point of the kickoff. The previous rule allowed players to line up five yards from the restraining line (typically 35-yard line), allowing them to have more of a running start before the kick. 2. The wedge block has been eliminated. Only players who line up in the setup zone (between their own 40 and opponents' 45-yard line) can put together double-team blocks. 3. Until the ball is touched or hits the ground, no player on the receiving team may cross the restraining line (typically its 45) or initiate a block. This forces blockers on the receiving team to run back and block, which greatly decreases the chance of an "attack" block that can result in a high-speed collision. 4. When the ball hits the end zone, it's immediately ruled a touchback. There is no need for a player to down the ball in the end zone to initiate a touchback. So this is basically Pop Warner kick off rules...
  7. It is not your fault... unless somehow you decided to have Jose Reyes on the roster, and playing. Dude can't hit, can't field....
  8. A three game sweep of a first place team... could not be much better results than that. Now they need to handle their business and sweep the fucking shitball Marlins
  9. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ftw/2018/05/19/watch-odell-beckham-jr-crush-a-batting-practice-homer/111165654/
  10. Great win tonight. Is there a worst batter then Reyes though?
  11. Nice win tonight. Need to win this series
  12. I am glad I did not watch that game yesterday.... have to hope that the Mets can look at least like a major league baseball team against the Diamond Backs
  13. ESPN and sports talk are not covering it hardcore because I bet it is common place in the memorabilia industry and nothing good comes from messing it up
  14. I don't know... can't say I watch the Yankees play to know much about these guys other than Bird has a world of talent but is always hurt, Wade is batting under .100, Sonny Gray is no star and Betances is not lighting it up this year. Any trade for Syndergaard needs to include some young stud infielder who is going to bat .300+
  15. It was a civil suit and all about money... they got their money
  16. 3rd inning they got too cute with pitch calling for Syndaguard... let the dude throw the hammer until they show they can hit it
  17. At least they did not lose last night!
  18. Looks like he showed up to camp today... Hopefully something good can come of it
  19. Thank the fuck they pulled out a 9th inning win against the Phillies. Need something to wake the bats up
  20. I agree with this... Personally I never want to see the Yankees win... although, I have to admit, this current Yankee team I do not feel any particular hatred towards, maybe because of the young home grown talent. I do have a lot of Mets fans buddies who know a lot about the Yankees and will actually watch their games rooting against them. I just like to check the box score in the morning and see that they lost, or will root against them in playoffs When you are a fan of the better team it is easy to not hate on the other, like the Jets... in general I wish them well and would be happy to see them host a ticker tape parade someday (it is fun to laugh at them when they are acting like the Jets) but most Jet fans HATE the Giants
  21. It is crazy, the TV guys, Twitter, the scoreboard and the dugout had one lineup and the one that they gave to the umps was wrong. PLUS they drop 2 games to the fucking Reds, how can we even try to take this team seriously. At least they gave us a couple of good weeks as the season started.
  22. The Mets just batted out of order... in the first inning. That is the first time Ive ever seen that.....
  23. Is the Brave offense really this good? I mean I hate seeing the Mets lose, but against the Braves it feels even worse....
