  1. Yeah, we have to plan as if Wilson won't be there. If he is, that's even better.

I'm more concerned about how the offensive line develops and whether we end up with a cohesive group...or a bunch of individual players who play with limited personal success. I find cohesion to be vastly underrated when it comes to the line. A lot of that has to do with consistency of personnel, which we didn't have last year. I think they should try to get themselves into meetings together, learn strengths and weaknesses and responsibilities together...and I think they should do that willingly on their own. Starting with the rookie mini-camps. No on-field stuff, just film and comradery type of stuff.

Agree, a group who been together that know each other weak spots, a line who is in sync is better than putting 5 individual pro bowler together. I consider the 2007 front 5 should be the best in Giants history: David Diehl; Left Guard -- Rich Seubert; Center -- Shaun O'Hara; Right Guard -- Chris Snee; Right Tackle -- Kareem McKenzie.....

anyways, i suggest these guys go to weekly strip clubs together to build that chemistry.

Once our line is solid.... i can't wait to see Wilson's ceiling (when he is 100%)..

  2. I wouldn't even call it hazing, he just threw him in a cold tub. But yeah, Prince has been the most consistent player the past two years

Sure. That's all you hear from the media because the giants always keep things on a tigh lock. Mental abuse and others stuff you just wont know about cause it hasn't been reported. Miami is just too stupid to have that stuff leak out that's how we all know about it but I'm sure it's been going on for a very long time around the league.

  3. I always though this dude was awesome. Most of us wanted him before the raiders went bananas and took him so high. He's planning a comeback. What you guys think??

Retired linebacker Rolando McClain is reportedly targeting a return to the NFL.

McClain, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 draft by the Oakland Raiders, has been working out and spreading the word that he plans to play in the NFL next season, according to a report by the Carroll County Times.

The Raiders released McClain on April 5, 2013, after a series of off-field issues, including a shooting incident in December, 2011 that led to four misdemeanor charges. The charges were later dropped after McClain and the victim reached a financial settlement.

McClain signed with the Baltimore Ravens five days after being released by Oakland, but retired nearly a month later, stating he wanted "to focus on getting my personal life together."

The Ravens still retain the rights for the 24-year-old former Alabama standout. In 41 games over three seasons with Oakland, McClain tallied 246 tackles and 6.5 sacks.

  4. I think a major reason why they are going after McClain so early is because they couldn't lock Beason in before the start of free agency.

    great point,,

at first i thought it was for Rolando McClain...... now that would be awesome..

  5. There is no guarantee he would have worked in another place other than Cincinatti. Burfict wanted it, and without him waiting to change, it wouldn't matter, but Marvin Lewis mentored him and I've heard that he and the coaching staff that took a hands on approach in guiding him and teaching him how to conduct himself as a professional. I have no problem with passing on him given his reputation.

I've seen Burfict played a couple of games during his college years.. the dude was a straight up beast, he was a magnet to the ball carrier. But then i see him screaming and yelling at the refs causing his team to loose couple of games and a bowl game.... he was a talent football player but couldn't control himself as a professional on the field. I really did want him but I don't know how he'll work out in the city of NY and Tom isn't the hold hands type of coach, dude expected you to be a professional right off the bat. Then again, this just my opinion. On another note, i also wanted Te'O... but Giants never had a chance in the second round.

  6. I though Cordle did a good job. I'd also resign Boothe because he's versatile and cheap. He can cover center and guard.

Great Point .. just like Pugh.. they can play other positions. provide breathing room when injury hits. . but of cause i would want a player that is a monster in one position than a so-so player that's ok in every position..

I'm also glad we're not as high in the draft.. would be hit a little harder by the cap.... not saying that we wouldn't trade down.. but the last time the giants ever traded a first rounder was going up for Eli... and that's about 9 years ago.

  7. Now that's funny!

The expression on Jerry Jones' face was priceless. It's funny how the camera immediately goes to the owner's booth in the last 2 minutes of the game to focus on Jerry when the game is on the line. When the Cowboys stopped the Eagles on a 3rd and 1 and were forced to punt - ole Jerry's face lit up like a kid on Christmas morning. Moments later, the second the interception happened, he spun around and disappeared like a magic trick. I think he's sick of seeing his disappointed expression on the sports page of every newspaper in America.

It's great to see Jerry suffer - the old bag of wind!

I actually show things flying, Jerry must of threw his old man wee wee pad across the room.! love it.

  8. THing with Gilbride is that he's a freaking moron.... dude knows the O-line can't hold up more than a second.. can't he adjust the plays for shorter routes and faster release of the ball??.. instead this fucker does the usual first and long, second and long. third and run straight in the middle. BS... when was the last time you watch a game where you're totally caught off guard by Gilbride's game play?

As for Nicks, he's a great WR.. he isn't like the rest of the EX WR giants that go somewhere else and bombs.. i really wish they can somehow bring him back...
