In his defense, Tiki got eavesdropped on by a snoopy reporter and Tiki didn't wanna flip flop and say he wasnt gonna retire and then do what Saban did and retire after all. We'd hate him a lot more if he did that.
pretty ironic that Strahan was talking about in October how he was mad that he was going to break LTs record but he said thats the way things go, and now it looks like he may not break it after all.
From what I'm reading were not signing Davis.
Im thinking we got a 3rd round consolation pick and use it to trade up in the draft to get a guy like Brown.
yeah the last two offseasons have been pretty annoying. All rumors and no action. Two years ago we got McKenzie and Pierce, but we went through all that shit with signing Plaxico. And then the rumors with Lavar were just unbearable. And it turns out he sucked for us anyway.
Hopefully this is the beginning of something different. Anything that's different from the shit we've been doing the last 5 years.
the guy made a lineup projection earlier on defense. heres how it went.
DE Osi
DE Kiwi
DT Sands
DT Cofield
OLB Pierce
OLB Briggs
ILB WIllis
CB Samuels
CB Clements
S Mikell
S Demps
think of it this way. its so bizarre we have to be on to something right?
im excited. Our current philosophy has sucked the last few years. Inconsistent teams, constant injuries, bad characters. I like the change.
idk who this guy thinks he is but hes on the GMB and has been posting rumors for a while now. He called the Spagnuola thing so does have a little bit of credibility to him. Something to keep an eye out for on the GMB, but to take with a grain of salt.
Yeah, probably some stuff that caused the consideration of retirement to take place.
But this was all Tiki's doing. Not much to do with TC. Its probably just a coincidence that Tiki didn't like the guy and he retired.
You guys are crazy if you think Tiki is coming back if Coughlin was fired. He made a committment to retire week 7 or something. And then he brought it out the whole year. If he came back after all that hype, that would be incredibly damaging to him and his reputation. He was gone either way.
I could see Eli having that INT in red zone stat. Our gameplan was so damn conservative in teh red zone that Eli didn't really have a chance to make a mistake. What was his TD total in the red zone? That's important too.
i dont think it was that big a deal to change beltran's psyche.
Those first two games really showed we have some big time assholes representing our franchise. That was horrible.
People were giving Moss too much love because he was Santana's little bro. I see him as an ideal situational WR at best and I think that's what he'll be to us. A guy who can add a dimension to our offense.
Keep Snee at guard. He's at a pro bowl caliber there. If anything, just move Seubert to center and don't spend a 1st round pick on a guy you have a decent player at.
